The product inside the dispenser is good, but the dispenser itself is faulty. There’s a sponge at the tip that’s supposed to spread the product but it disintegrates as soon as you touch your skin. It could be because the bottle is old, but this is the second one it’s happened to.

I received the original Maybelline Erase it was fine. The problem occured with the Age Rewind I called Amazon. They replaced the item I opened it and tried to use it. There is something wrong with the sponge. Being that this has happened twice now I believe there is a batch that is having technical difficulties. Again. It was good. Came early which is a great bonus! It was a little light for my skin tone, and at first was kind of hard to get the concealer up and to the little applier on the top, but still good. The smell is nice, not super noticeable though. It's not that it smells like chemicals, but it does kind of have the smell of cream or something. After twisting and not seeing any product fill the sponge, I pressed the sponge to my face and it sunk in. I tried using my fingers to possibly pull it up and the sponge disintegrated. The little bit of product in it looked like turmeric powder. Absolutely disappointed!

I love this product! I am over 60 and have age spots (sun spots) on my face. This is the only product that I have found that completely covers the spots with just one dab. I lightly touch/dab it with my finger to blend after applying. I am blonde but use a tan foundation and the med/dark color is perfect every time without being obvious. It's a full coverage. I also use the age rewind concealer under the eyes, but it does not cover age spots like the 'Dark Spot Eraser does.' ... show more
