This foundation is my go-to for affordable everyday wear. If you have dark spots, sun spots, any sort of discoloration, this does such a good job covering it. Its a full coverage foundation for literally only $8. Ive tried a ton of different ones and this one does not leave my face feeling cakey or heavy. It feels very lightweight and breathable. I usually apply my makeup with a beauty blender and dab foundation onto my face with a slightly damp blender. If i have more uneven skin tone in one area i’ll just put a few extra drops of foundation in that area and go over it again but even doing another layer doesnt make me feel heavy at all!! Its not waterproof but it does a pretty good job holding up in heat thats for sure. And just a side key. Make sure to moisturize before foundation!! If you use too heavy of a moisturizer the foundation will definitely break up or melt off quicker so its important to use a light or matte finish moisturizer 🫡✨. But yeah i highly recommend this foundation if youre on your search for a good everyday breathable full coverage buildable foundation that wont leave you cakey!! It doesnt have much of a smell to it at all which is a huge relief since highly fragranced foundations can be very harmful to your skin barrier. But its super easy to use and overall amazing. Its fungal acne safe as well in case you were wondering… and also non-comedogenic… can it get any better😍 ... show more

A little of this goes a long way. You have to be mindful not to apply too much of this on your brush, sponge, or fingertips. I normally wear a regular beige color like buff beige, but I actually got a tan going this year so needed a darker color. I’ve been using the fit me foundation as my “go to” for daytime use for about 3 years now. It’s very comparable to the more expensive brands but at a fraction of the price, and who doesn’t love high quality for a great deal? You do need to use a setting powder with this particular foundation because otherwise it will stay soft and or tacky on your skin. Use sparingly on your forehead otherwise it will look bad pancaky. It is buildable so if you feel it’s not covering your freckle or sun spot well enough just apply a little more on those spots OR dot with concealer, but make sure the first layer is dry first. I’m almost 50 yrs old and I don’t feel the need to build my foundation because with this one, after I apply my setting powder, that covers any spots that may have been visible. Here’s s tip: use your concealer AFTER your foundation, not before. I really like this product but I will tell you it’s not good for killer humid sweaty summer days. So no go for high temps: it basically melts on your face and you can’t wear sunglasses on a hot day with this. IS excellent for cold weather up to about 80 degrees. I recently was made aware of that when you get older you can't wear Dewey makeup, which I love and I was needing to get a matte makeup that kind of disguises the pores a little, and this makeup does that. It's perfect coverage without looking too over made up so it's not full coverage but that's fine for me. The color is perfect and even though it's a matte makeup it doesn't make your skin look super dry which I hate.
