Better than I expected! Takes a couple uses to get the hang of it, but really great color deposit & really easy to use. My pic shows the gel tint on, same day results, then next day results. I left on for about 45 mins. I barely have any eyebrow hairs left, so this was perfect for me because it tints the skin. It’s really hard to avoid getting them wet or washed, but they’ll last better if you do. When I left on for 20 mins I got the red hue the next day, so I think if you leave it on for a while longer you can achieve the dark brown. ... show more

When I saw other people using this product on their brows, I thought it was pretty cool. I don’t need it for my brows because I have them microbladed, but I saw somebody on TikTok using this product to give themselves faux freckles, and it looked so good. So naturally, I decided to buy the product for the same exact reason I wanted to get myself fake freckles just a few, but one thing I noticed about this product. I don’t know if it’s the color maybe I need to get a different color but to me it has like a grayish hue so it doesn’t look super natural and on top of that I feel like it kind of just starts fading throughout the day. For example, I have a small freckle above my lip that I wish would be a but bigger like a beauty mark and so I put a little bit of this on it and left it on for a while, couple hours, then peeled it off, and I mean, even the next day it already was pretty faded so to me, it wasn’t that great. Overall, I would say it’s easy to use for anyone who is thinking about using it but I just don’t think it’s worth it in my opinion for myself maybe for brows and not for a fake freckles. ... show more

This is my second time using this product. My first time it was 2 years ago same brand and same color, after using it as directed it stayed for 2 to 3 days.     • Great for trichotillomania
This product is great for my trichotillomania. It's easy to use and lasts all day. It's fades after washing my face but is still visible so reapplying is super easy and fast. Recreating a shape from nothing was stressful for me, but not anymore! And it's nice not to ever have to see myself without eyebrows. It can be intimidating to use initially, if you have little hair as a guide, but you can use a q-tip to help shape and correct mistakes if you catch it within a couple minutes. When you have something you're happy with, you can use the faded brows as a guide for your next day, so application becomes super fast and easy! The faded color eventually develops a reddish tint, but isn't too obnoxious. It's highly resistant to rubbing friction (hands, clothing, pillow, etc), but sensitive to scratching. You can use it in tandem with a waxy brow stick/s for additional shading and shape correcting and customizing. It sticks to hair; it comes off with gentle tugging, but I don't think this would be the best product for people who wish to fill in already thick brows. My box was in a European language, so I wonder if it's actually carried anywhere in the US. I had to look for instructions online on Maybelline's website (wait 20 minutes and peel off) as the English instructions were covered by the inventory sticker. However, it looks like a legitimate Maybelline product. I'm very happy with it! ... show more
