I bought this on a whim because I saw a review video on it and hadn't used it in years. It's one of those products that you either love or hate. Well, I love it. It is so lightweight, yet the coverage is amazing. I have mature skin (59) and was so worried I would turn orange because of the oxidation. That did not happen. I worried about it amplifying my wrinkles and setting in there. That did not happen either. It goes on so smoothly, and it really is full coverage. Covered all my redness and made my skin beautifully smooth and even. I have tried to many foundations and I really love this one. I bought porcelain ivory thinking it was the lightest and it really matched my skin well. It wore all day and did not oxidize, I didn't turn orange and it covered all my dark and red spots. I used my fingers to apply it and it was so velvety smooth. I am so happy I bought this to try, I am very impressed and recommend. And a little goes a long way! This products is amazing, it's very smooth and lightweight. Your face doesn't feel like it's caked in something like most other foundations feel. A little goes a long way with this product. I love it!

I used to use this product in high school. I can’t remember why I initially stopped using it, but I would think it’s because there were so many other products out there that I wanted to try. I like that the formula almost feels whipped and is easy to apply and blends into your skin. I used the same foundation shade in high school and it still seems to be the same formula/shade as before so I feel the color matches my skin tone as well as what’s advertised. If you like more of a mouse type foundation similar to tarte Amazon clay then this is similar, which is what I had actually been using before this. In my opinion, I feel that you’re getting your moneys worth with this as a little goes a long way for me. I don’t feel it clogs my pores or makes my skin break out. I work in an office, but I don’t need to reapply the foundation once I put it on in the morning. All in all, it’s a good product and would recommend. ... show more

I've had tons of issues over the last few months with my skin changing. I have eczema so I recently switched up my skincare routine to be more moisturizing and as a result, I've been having issues with my old foundation routine sliding right off my face. I tried this one out thinking it might be a good option with more longevity. So PROS - It is pretty buildable in terms of coverage and it is super lightweight - which I love! CONS - It does seem to oxidize a bit on my skin throughout the day, but I can usually get by with just using a blotter paper and a light dusting of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder to touch up. Also the texture seems really funky when you first open it and it's kind of crumbly. I STRONGLY recommend that you apply with a brush vs. a sponge. I've tried it both ways multiple times and the brush allows for a much more even application. All in all, a good buy for where my skin is at right now. ... show more

I don't hate this product but I don't love it either. The coverage for me isn't that great but I've had worse. The Bad: 1. I have a lot of redness and my skin isn't very smooth due to old acne scaring. My skin, however, isn't even as bad as some of the others I've seen, so I'd imagine it would be worse if you have moderate to severe acne scaring. This brand of makeup didn't really sit well on my skin and sort of slid around into the scars and made them stand out more. 2. I tried using a brush to apply it but dabbing it on lightly with my fingers and gently smudging it outward seemed to blend it better. But either way it just doesn't apply very easily (see 3 for reasons why) 3. The texture isn't really a mousse or foam. It tends to pill up and isn't as smooth as one would wish. Having said all the negatives there are also some great qualities The Good: 1. I know it's horrible but I'm so self conscious about my skin that I wear makeup when I go outside to walk my dog or workout and this makeup is light enough where it doesn't melt off or feel like you're wearing a ton of it. Goes on quick so you can be out the door in seconds. 2. It doesn't cover all the redness but it doesn't do a horrible job either. I could go out just wearing this and feel ok about it but generally I wear it over my liquid oil-free neutrogena makeup and it gives it a nice matte finish and covers up blemishes. ... show more

I've tried a lot of foundations, but I always seem to come back to this one. I'm not a fan of the dewy look that seems to be trendy these days with makeup, so matte as possible is my preference. This is a great, cheap foundation! I use it with the Maybelline Blur & Smooth primer so it doesn't stick to any dry skin, and it makes the mousse apply very smoothly. When the Loreal mousse foundation got discontinued (my all time favorite foundation), this was the best alternative. I think I'll stop playing around with other foundations now and just stick to this one since I know I love it! It has light to medium coverage, and it takes any redness out of my skin. I apply it with a Real Techniques foundation brush, and it does the trick! I also think this is a very good match for my skin tone. It's slightly too yellow, but I'm extremely pale, so it's hard to find good matches, but the lightest shade with the mousse is good enough. ... show more
