Assembly was easy , great instructions, step by step. It does however take quite some time to put it all together which is to be expected. it took me and my helper about 2 1/2 hours. I would definitely recommend two people as it would be easier. When I put mine together there was two of us. It is a fairly sturdy bed. Mine is on a wood floor so it moves very easy. It wobbles just a little bit if you push it back and forth but I have mine up against the wall which seems to help the stability. If it was on carpet I don't believe that it would be like that and it would be a lot harder to move around as well. I've laid on it and also I've had another adult get on the bed both the top and the trundle and everything was good . It held adult weight with no problem. The drawers on the bottom are wonderful I think they're just the right size. On the bottom bed I used at 6-in memory foam mattress. On the top that I used an 8 inch memory foam mattress. They're both a perfect size for this bed. I can honestly say that I don't have any negative comments about purchasing this bed. I'm very happy with the purchase and I would definitely recommend. The only thing I can say negative is that I wish when they delivered it in a couple of boxes instead of one, it was extremely heavy. ... show more
