This MAXYOYO Roll-Up Mattress Sleeping Mat makes for an excellent spare bed. Great for little kids and teens. It is portable and easy to carry. Opening it up is as easy as unzipping it and letting it roll out on the floor. The outer material is heavy-duty linen-like and a bit on the rough/itchy side, so you’ll want to put a sleeping bag, soft blanket, or a flat sheet on it to make it comfortable. It has two types of inner foam support that will keep those using it comfortable, except heavier people, who probably won’t find it too comfortable. It does take up some room when rolled up, so storage might be a challenge if you live in tight quarters. It isn’t the easiest thing to roll up. And getting it zipped while trying to hold it in a roll is difficult and is best done by two people. Its measurements are what is advertised. The cover can be removed, and machine washed, but I have not yet done that. Getting the padding back inside the outside cover may be a bit troublesome. Conclusion: This is, without a doubt, a nifty roll-up mattress. Though other solutions are available that fulfill the same purpose as this item, I like the portability of this mattress. It would be great to take camping or use for sleepovers at a friend’s house. Its durability means it should last a long time, easing the sting of the nearly one-hundred-dollar price tag. While it’s a good (four-star) roll-up mattress, I don’t believe that it rises to the standard of what I think is an excellent (five-star) roll-up mattress. I've used this MAXYOYO Roll Up Floor Futon once, and it is certainly a futon. Not as comfy as a mattress, but better than a couple of yoga mats. I like that it rolls up nicely for storage (but it is still bulky, like a... futon!). The fabric does pick up dust and floor debris, so maybe you want a lint roller to keep it clean for guests. ... show more

This is actually a bit thicker and softer than I thought it would be. It is definitely good enough for floor sleeping, or back of car sleeping if you need that. Rolling it back up isn't too bad either. It takes a little effort, but it's not too bad. This is also quite useful if you have hard couch that you have to sleep on. This is a great mat, it is still large, however, even when rolled up, so portability is not the best, but it is still quite portable. It is not the type of mat however, that you would want to bring backpacking but rather for guests during a sleepover. It is very comfortable and feels great on your back. This is a versatile and useful piece of equipment that can be used for a variety of activities. It is well made and packable. I can use this mat for camping during the summer time. I think the mat can provide insulation from the ground, making it more comfortable to sleep outdoors. This mat can also be used as a guest bed. I think this mat can provide a comfortable sleeping surface if my kid has a friend staying over as I don't have a spare bed. This mat can also be used for me for stretching or doing core workouts.
