Hinge works well. Lovely bracelet with fine scrolling and a good weight which makes it sit beautifully on the wrist. My wrist is 6.5 inches. I ordered my usual size 7 inch and it has room to move a little but not too much. I like my bracelets to stay at the wrist and not ride up the arm . The finished side has, so far, remained outward facing-which is great! I believe this Filigree hinged bangle would make an excellent Valentine’s or Christmas gift. Very pleased with mine. Planning on ordering another style from this seller. UPDATE: I ordered a second bracelet just like the first after realizing it looked so good with some of my other sterling silver bracelets. Really attractive bracelet, lightweight and well-made. I like the twisted/braided style - won't show scratches from rubbing on a tabletop etc. Also like that it's an oval not a circle. Easy to put on and off. I tried it out at home for an hour, and I couldn't get used to the fact that it's a solid/rigid oval.
