I solved that by putting 3 inch shelving under them. Worked perfectly! I'm very happy with this purchase

Horrible!!! The pillows are SO slippery. The whole couch except the bottom of the base is the fluffy material pictured. In real life it’s not really plush and cotton feeling, it is slippery and plastic feeling. The bottom cushions will slip right off the couch (taking you with it) if you lean back at all. The back pillows are way too thick and firm so if you use the couch with them on it’s very shallow and uncomfortable. It is best when I take all the cushions off and am just sitting on the base which is nice, but then I am essentially sitting on the floor. If you don’t have the arms against a wall they aren’t strong enough to lean against. I would’ve returned this but Amazon says that for some reason returning this item might result in getting 0 money back. Also since it’s vacuum sealed and tiny when you get it, returning it would be a huge hassle. I deeply regret purchasing this and wish that I had shelled out more money to get something nicer since this will need to be replaced anyways.

Initially loved this. Very comfy and cute. We haven’t had very long though & there is a small tear in the seam under the cushions on the couch part. I’ve contacted customer service through their website and I’m hoping to hear back.
