Build Quality The sprayer is well made and has a heavy duty high quality compressor that works great on oil based paint. I was impressed with the quality and construction. Use I used the sprayer to paint a few small ornamental pieces (growth chart, stool and child table) and I found it was very easy to use. Using a paint sprayer without a hopper totally changes how you spray if you are used to using air -- when you don't have to hold up a quart of paint straight upright the whole time you are painting. I found the whole process very liberting and I can focus more on where I'm spraying than how I'm holding the sprayer. Once you try this -- you'll never want to go back to anything else. The quality was great and the paint went on very consistenly with no "drops." There is some work in preping the area and cleanup but the results are worth it. Use by professional We have a relative that paints professionally that we had use this sprayer on some built-ins in our house and he said the performance is the same as a unit that he uses that cost around $400 and not too much different than the $1000 units he uses commercially. He was really impressed with the performance for the price. I will say that he did thin the paint slighlty (I would say about 1 - 1.5 cups of thinner per gallon) even though we said it didn't need thinning -- he always thins some. The paint went on great. He did one coat primer, and I believe 2 coats paint -- 2nd mainly for touch ups using oil based lacquer enamel. The finished product looked great -- no drips or heavy spray. Final thoughts Based on the finish we achieved and our relative's analysis I highly recommend this sprayer!

This is definitely a learning curve for me, much more involved than a roller and brush. However, the results are much better. The instructions were pretty clear and all of the attachments were listed and what parts went where, etc. The best part is absolutely the clean out attachment. Clean up is probably the worst part of spraying (second only to taking off everything) but this made is so much more simple. Very nice sprayer that will last when cared for.

Talk about painting at a completely different level. First, there are instructions. Bleh, I hate instructions, but sometimes, you just gotta read them, right? Ok, so after finding out I couldn't just dump paint in a container and go at it, I connected the hose (fantastic, full-on quality tools by the way; designed for the life of the sprayer, which was unexpected) and turned knobs this direction and that and primed with water since I'm a newb and did some other things that I don't remember (but it's all listed in very clear and readable LAMINATED instructions for those of us new to this art of painting) and then powered on the machine, unlocked the trigger and well, the rest is history. I mean, I could actually (and you could too, obviously) start a business with this thing, the operation and results being as beautiful as they are. So, do I recommend it? Yes, if you've got plenty of walls to do or the thought of picking up a paint roller stresses your patience, your time saved will be worth the money spent on the machine. It operates efficiently, the cleanup is a pain (expected, but included in the final analysis of time saved), the machine is well built and the time saved is incalculable. Time is life and life is precious. Product recommended.

I added photos of paint close ups to show how even the coverage is (although still probably hard to tell from a photo), but this sprayer exceeded my expectations. It is pretty fairly heavy sprayer, but since all but the hose and spray tip stays mostly in one spot, it isn’t that big of a deal. Especially when comparing to my Wagner paint sprayer that had a paint canister at the point of the sprayer. It was like holding a gallon of paint up while you’re spraying! Needless to say, this is much easier on your arms and faster to apply the paint. This will be my go to sprayer from now on!

I've used different paint sprayers over the years but this is the first one I've owned. I got a good one! It's a quality sprayer, well made and solid. My purpose in getting this is to paint the exterior of my house in the spring, but I tried it out in our family room and it was a great experience. It's not too heavy to handle and the cleaning process is straightforward. Included instructions were clear and it handled Benjamin Moore latex paint perfectly. So happy I got this and even happier that it's so effective. Five stars.
