Even though we are a shop and in general we dont buy cheap chinese parts for customer cars, I Bought this turbocharger for my own personal 17 ford escape 1.5L. I had the drivetrain already out of the car replacing the transmission and water pump & timing belt when i discovered the bearing in the factory turbo was shot at 200k miles. Decided the car was not worth putting $1000 more into it for the original factory ford turbo. So i decided to give this a chance. I will admit my expectations were low but honestly it wasnt to bad out of the box. Came with new cylinder head to flange bolts and gaskets, new bolts for the oil return line with gaskets. Did not come with new coolant feed line o rings ( got those from ford ) and the oil feed line copper crush washers were the incorrect size. But overall honestly not to bad of a purchase. Been on the car a bit now and so far so good. No signs of any leaks and seems to perform flawless. I cant speak for longevity of the turbo but in my case its a for 1.5L engine with 200k miles on it. Im sure its not gonna last maybe another 50k miles anyways before it bites the dust.

So far it working better then the original one that was on the car and I need a new turbo do to the original was leaking oil internally and every time I would start the car it would blow smoke out the tail pipe, installing it was not to bad if you don’t mine laying on the ground but all in all it was easy to do and we will see how long it last

Fit perfectly on a 2016 Ford Fusion 1.5l. My friends son ran his Fusion low on oil taking out his turbo. I've only done about 4 turbos in VW previously to this one but this one was by far the easiest. It helps that its a tiny engine in a mid-size/full size car. I did have to get a couple more o-rings since I removed all the lines from the block itself but oh well, it came with the main gaskets that are needed. Its been on his car for a couple months now and over 4,000 miles. Anyone that owns one of these vehicles dont listen to what Ford says about the oil interchange, do 3-4000 miles and my opinion is any car with a turbo only go 3-4000 miles with synthetic oil. Compared to the price of turbos or an engine oils cheap, keep it clean.

Purchased to replace the SECOND OEM replacement turbo that was causing a smoke on startup and oil consumption condition. Quality of the part seemed good and fitment was exactly the same as OEM. The gaskets that came with the turbo were also good quality. Install was no more difficult than a turbo replacement should be. Will update with comments about longevity but so far so good. For anyone looking to repair your 1.5L ecoboost engine, this definitely seems to be a viable option considering the $200 price tag(as compared to the $1000 OEM replacement that will fail in 50k or less miles).

Turbo is performing excellent. It was a difficult installation, not due to the product but the vehicle design. There are several bolts that are extremely difficult to access. This saved me around $1,800+ in doing it myself. The fit was great, worked right away. But, the true value will be determined by how long this turbo lasts. I’m only one month in.
