Had a rocky start getting this going. It doesn't come with the oil needed and I basically had to guess how much because it takes an odd amount... Once I got it going it's pretty easy to run. HOWEVER, the RV outlet is completely useless since it's had a big lip below the outlet and all my 30A RV plugs are FLAT. So I can't use the RV plug I have and instead had to change the end of my plug to the one they provide, which then makes my cord nearly impossible to use at parks where a flat plug is needed to fit in the electrical box. Also it doesn't have an explanation in the owners manual as to what the 4 different things on the digital display are. V is volts and H is hours but I have no idea what the other two are. It runs quiet and starts right up with the remote (after the first few starts, I think the battery was drained when I got it). On low idle (Eco mode) it runs about 9-10 hours on just under 2 gallons of gas using it for TV and charging batteries and lights. I will say that maintenance is super easy, oil change takes about 5 minutes and I do that about every 100 hours. I've had mine since December 2025, and as of the end of March I have almost 700 hours on it and it's still running well. I also have it on a pallet under a dog tent to keep it out of the elements so I can use it in any weather. ... show more

It works , its hard to start. I bought it STRICTLY because it has remote start. It has been difficult to start since i have had it. when it finally catches and quits chugging it works ok, doing its job. I live off grid and use it for emergency power on hot nights to charge my solar batteries when AC system runs them down. I do not want to go outside at 2am to mess with a generator. Thats why i bought a remote control generator. I have had to go outside to start it several times in the last 2 weeks. Not happy. Considering returning it. Its not as claimed. ... show more

I gave it 4 stars because I haven't been able to use it for extended time but so far I like it. I followed the instructions and got it running with no issues. Ran it for 30 minutes for break in and then did the oil change. Oil was clear with no metal particles. Hopefully it will last a long time.
