I haven’t installed this lift kit yet, but I’ve added it to my ongoing 2006 Subaru Forester off-road project. Since my suspension is currently pulled, I was able to test-fit the spacers onto both the struts and the body mounts. Fitment was perfect. The manufacturing quality really impressed me. Unlike many competitors that weld their spacers together from multiple pieces of steel, each of these are machined from a single solid carbon steel block. That alone makes them substantially stronger than the typical welded steel or aluminum options out there. I've installed ADF spacers on two other Subarus in the last few years and swear by them, but these solid spacers are a serious step up from those strength-wise. The machining is also top-notch, with a near mirror finish and tight tolerances. My calipers measured them exactly at 51.0 mm thick, or 2 and 1/128 inches. The pre-threaded holes are deep and clean, and the bolts included in the kit threaded in smoothly. All hardware was included...every nut, bolt, and washer needed. They even chamfered the edges of the spacers to take off the sharp edges, which is COMPLETELY unnecessary in a part like this, just to make them a little nicer to hold while you're installing them. It was a nice detail, and another sign of quality engineering! The bolts and nuts are metric class 8.8, roughly equivalent to SAE Grade 5. That’s perfectly fine for a daily driver or even a weekend trail car, but considering how overbuilt these spacers are, it would have been nice to see Grade 10.9 hardware to match. Since my Forester project is being set up for real off-road use, I’ll be upgrading the hardware myself. That said, for most people, the included bolts will be more than adequate. I do have one MAJOR issue, though. A sharp eye might have caught that I said the thickness of these is 2 and 1/128 inches, and this is advertised as a THREE-inch lift. The box was clearly labeled as a three-inch lift, so I'm left assuming that someone in their production plant stuck the wrong spacers in the box. This isn't really a problem for me since I'd originally been planning a 2" lift anyway, and these will work perfectly, and it absolutely should not take away from the phenomenal build quality of these spacers, but maXpeedingroods does need to tighten up their QC just a little and you'll want to double check yours when the arrive to make sure you've been sent the correct size. Bottom line: these are extremely well-made spacers that are clearly overbuilt for the price. Perfect for street use and ready for real off-road punishment. I HIGHLY recommend these...just doublecheck to verify they've sent you the correct ones after they show up!

The spacers seemed to be of good quality and are 1 solid milled piece. The hardware is suspect to say the least. The supplied studs snap off with minimal tension. Had to go get better hardware from store. This made a fairly easy job become much more time consuming. Waisted 2 hours of my time. Decent product,just make sure you get your own hardware before you start the install.

Aight. So I’m a gambler and I dgaf. I installed this kit and aligned it myself with the Gyraline and then proceeeded to drive from Colorado to Maine during a blizzard and I had a blast while doing it. The only thing is that there aren’t really instructions. I mean it’s pretty easy but I also snapped 2x of the included studs (cheap galv metal) but I replaced with some bolts I found lying around and just sent it. 10/10. May want to use your own like stainless steel bolts tho. But the kit is slick. I also tossed some 1.5” wheel spacers on

I bought this with the hope that I could just install spacers and get the lift, then align and go. Unfortunately, that is not true. This kit is woefully incomplete. 3" lift requires engine cradle and differential spacers, trailing arm relocation, exhaust relocation, multiple hose and wire adjustments, brake line mount relocation, etc... a much more involved process than is advertised with this kit. What is there is good quality, it's just not what is necessary to do the job. Sort of like a model car with no glue.

This is an excellent budget lift system. Pretty dang easy to install but you do have to remove the struts to do a proper job. With air tools in took a couple hours to complete. The anodizing on these struts toppers is well done. The set comes with a bag of hardware but they make you use common sense for installation (no instructions). The car sits way up high now for a station wagon, I love it! I had to knock a star because one of the bolts broke during install, could have been installer error but I wasn’t torquing down this bolt any more than the others. All in all I’m happy with this set and would buy again if needed.
