I like the thickness of the fork or fingers on this mini rake. If you look at the photos, the fingers are twice as thick as your typical rake found in a big box store. For me that translates into more dirt movement and less overall work to get the same thing done. I'm really looking forward to using this in a few months when spring arrives, and the garden gets started. The handle is nice sized and feels really good in your hand. It has a nub on the back to ensure it stays in place and a grove on both the left and right side for finger placement. This is no brainer if you need a garden tool that offers this functionality. I got this tool to do some weeding in my new raised garden bed. The soil in the bed was full of weed seeds, so after the first rains, we had tons of baby weeds popping up everywhere. This tool did a great job tilling the soil so we could easily pull out the weeds, roots and all, to minimize another massive weed growth. I found the handle really comfortable, especially since the soil I was tilling was not the softest. It was felt very sturdy digging into the hard soil. It really did a great job breaking up the soil. This mini hand garden rake is lightweight, but very strong to handle the most demanding gardening task. The claw is solid steel, and the claws feel very substantial. The non-slip handle is just the right size if you're wearing gloves. I've had some garden tool handles that are too large and are difficult to hold while wearing gloves, this mini garden rake handle is just right. It's in that "Goldilocks" zone. This little garden rake is very well made. Solid aluminum with a nice smooth finish makes it easy to clean and best of all, won't rust. Handle is ergonomic and sits nicely in the hand. Heavy duty will not bend in use and tines are strong and sharp. Should last a long time! Definitely worth it!

The first thing you notice about this tool is how strong and sturdy it is. The metal part of the tool runs the full length of the handle, so it isn't two pieces that could eventually disconnect. It is also the perfect size for my raised planter beds. This is much nicer than my old one that wore out, and the price is very reasonable. It also works well to cultivate the soil. It is sturdier than I thought it would be. I'm very happy with this hand rake. It is a solid metal with a covered handle, so there are no parts to come loose or break off. I love that. The only thing that might get irritating is the slope of the handle. While holding it and raking the dirt, it slopes toward the ground, so it has the potential of getting your knuckles constantly scraped by the ground you are trying to cultivate and weed. But, it's a work-around problem as you get used to using it at an angle where your knuckles won't get raked along with the weeds. ... show more

I love this rake, it made with thick and heavy alloy to last a long time. The handle is big and has a good grib to hold tightly. This will help loosen the soil after a hard frozen winter
