This is such a soft luxurious feeling material. Love it. I bought it to cover up a velvet ottoman that my 3 year old markered up with every Crayola marker she had. Imagine my horror when I walked back into her room seeing that! Instead of paying a fortune for custom slip covers that don’t even match the pink shade of the chair that came with the ottoman, I was so glad to have come across this on Amazon. It’s a stretchy material and very easy to put on. The only drawback is that I can still slightly see the marker underneath but I got the white version so maybe other colors won’t be so see-thru. But it’s really barely noticeable. Hopefully you can make your own assessment with my photo.

They didn't have the exact size I needed, so I took a chance with a size that was close. The whole point of these was because a reviewer said their cat didn't like the velvety fabric and didn't scratch it. I have brand new custom lounge chairs and ottomans and wanted to try for some protection. Well, my 2 cats don't scratch but uses their claws to climb, which hasn't stopped :( but at least any damage they're doing is hidden now--not the best scenario, but we like our pets, sooo. The ottoman cover is stretchy enough to work, although it's a bit too long. Because the size isn't exact, the seams show on the top of the ottoman, which isn't a big deal to me because I have a jumbo knit throw draped over it. I unscrewed the feet, pulled the cover over the bottom and then reattached the feet for more of a custom fit. It's not perfect but it works

Purchased small: Fits my ottoman perfectly, but this color is not peacock, it is Dusty blue. But to this company I guess the color is peacock. I brought another one the same exact thing happened same Dusty blue color not peacock. I would have given it five stars if the color would have been better.

I haven't had the need to wash this plush velvet ottoman cover yet. It appears well-made with a wide elastic band to ensure it stays put. I purchased the dusty pink color in small which pairs well with an overstuffed chair. I added 2 elastic mattress cover bands to even out the elastic gathering at the bottom. The sizing was close enough to the dimensions of my ottoman if only a couple inches too wide but the stretchiness helps allow for distributing the fabric. I would recommend this cover.

Attractive fabric and the best fit I could find anywhere for my small ottoman. I like that I can take it off and wash it since my cat likes to lay on the Ottoman. A trick to hide the elastic band around the bottom was to loosen the feet on my ottoman and pull the cover down under the ottoman then re-tighten feet over the elastic band so that the band is completely hidden under the Ottoman. The only improvement would be if the corners weren’t sewn in as pronounced a curve but I think I can keep playing with the fit to make it look even more custom. Overall, I am very pleased with the look and it works to keep my old gray ottoman from clashing with the new gold sofa.
