This fabric is silk charmeuse, so it has a beautiful “hand” as they call it in the textile field of work. Unfortunately, their photo was done in poor enough lighting that I thought I was ordering a steel blue-gray background color. Instead, I received an off-white/beige/tans background color and print. This is not merely a “difference in monitors” issue at all. It is far enough off to actually be a completely different color, and browns and blues are completely different. I’m guessing they don’t actually have what I saw in the photo but I wish they did. Beige/Tans/browns I am not even attracted to and so this is a sad trip-up for me. But for those who like that color range, this fabric is gorgeous and high quality. They just need to correct this photo and not assume any old photo will do. This is not electronics or a toy. Colors are half the point when it comes to fabrics and clothing. Double check with them what the true colors are, and beware of ordering if you don’t get a quick response. People are often on Amazon for quickness in transaction and shipping. This said it was shipped from NY, so they could have sent it sooner than they did. I’m very happy with this fabric. It’s butter soft and the print is crisp. Pretty much everything I wanted. I knew it would be very thin because I have travel size pillowcases made from mulberry silk that I got on Amazon. The fabric on those is showing no sign of use even though they get used a lot. I expect the same from this, pillow cases for my queen size pillows. I ordered a yard to see what it was like and then ordered a few more to complete my project. ... show more

The colors are completely different than what is pictured for color #55. I am so disappointed and waited so long for this to arrive. I intended to make masks from it due to sensitive skin issues. However, the colors are way too garish.

I have had several orders from Maxfeel. Their mulberry silk fabric is just the best fabric and the designed patterns are so delightful. The silk is wonderfully soft and beautiful and the pillowcase is beautifully designed with a hidden zipper.
