We've had these stools for several weeks. We have been very pleased with the entire process. They arrived so quickly and were well packed. The assembly was simple and didn't take over long. The quality is exactly what we hoped for. We were concerned about the foam cushion but it is very dense. We have had no issues with the swivel as some people mentioned. Sat on the edge of the seat with most of my weight on one leg. The leg snapped. The way the legs flare outward makes them weaker. Avoid this stool.

The seat has a nice balance of firmness and comfort, and does a good job of supporting your butt well enough that you don't feel like you're sitting directly on top of the wood base. As far as fit and finish goes, the gaps are nice and small, and all the bolts went in without issue. Like you would hope for at this price, there are no veneers here, everything is solid wood. I'd like it if there were 3 more brass kickplates instead of just the one, but that's not a huge issue. The only real issue I have is with the swivel. It's VERY stiff, and it doesn't feel like more time will make it break in, so you might not be in luck if that's a must-have feature for you. ... show more
