First of all, I just want to say that I am not being paid or compensated in any way for this review. It’s just my honest experience. If you’re anything like me, you’ve looked at countless numbers of these now trying to figure out which one will add the amount of cushion to your bed that you’re looking for. Or at least I was. We upgraded our son‘s mattress and while we ordered medium firmness, that medium firmness felt just a little too firm. I know it needs to break in but until then, we decided to get a pad. I ordered 3 different brands at the same time, but upon arrival this one was almost busting out of the box so of course I had to check it first. Let me just say the other 2 are still just sitting in their boxes waiting to head back to Amazon. Once I took this out of the box, it was so soft and amazingly cushiony, even after being tightly wrapped in plastic, the search was officially over. I was pleasantly surprised that it had absolutely no odor, but since my sons will be sleeping on this, I immediately put it in the wash. I followed the washing instructions and I will say it washed well, but upon opening the machine, there was quite a bit of stuffing that had come out. I’m not taking a star away because it turned out there was a tiny little seam that had opened, so while inconvenient, I figured it happens. Just a heads up for you to check the seams before washing. Once I found the opening, I pushed all the stuffing back in (I did have to shift it around so that it was evenly distributed inside) and then I sewed it back shut. Otherwise it washed well, didn’t have any impact on the elasticity and all the other seams stayed closed well. I followed drying instructions, although I did leave it laid out overnight until I could find my sewing kit to sew it shut, so it had some chance to air dry pretty well. Per the instructions, I dried it on low heat, and I think it dried relatively quickly considering its thickness. And it got even fluffier after a couple cycles in the dryer. I put it on my son‘s bed and the fit is pretty good, although I could see it sliding around if your top sheet isn’t tight. My boys are professionals at spills and we have the occasional accident around here, so I put a waterproof sheet on top of it, and then a regular fitted sheet on top of that, and it seemed to work out pretty well. Upon testing it out, both my boys said they felt like they were sleeping on a marshmallow so I’m going to say there’s definitely enough padding to change a firm mattress into a pillow top. I think the price is pretty good for the quality that you get, so I would say it’s definitely worth the money. If the padding wears down over time, I will come back and update this review, but for right now I’m saying it’s five stars.

Im very happy and satisfied with the quality and softness of this topper, its fluffy right out of the vacuum sealed package and easy to put on the mattress. The price is amazing and I will definitely be getting this brand in the future. It fits my full size mattress perfectly

Nice topper, but not quite as firm as I need. This is more like a feather bed style topper and is very nice. I am gonna try a firm foam style topper to add under this topper to add a bit more firmness but still have the softness of this topper I also like the way this topper has elastic sheet style that fits to my current mattress. No sliding out of place as my husband and I are both restless sleepers.

A fantastic value. It fits the mattress snugly & is impressively comfortable & cool. It even looks good with the pattern through the fitted sheet. It's a nice thick extra padding that does not slip & is very breathable. Very happy with this mattress topper.

Best mattress top!!!! It’s so sad I just brought a new mattress and I hate it. It was too firm. I couldn’t sleep that first night. I brought this mattress top the same week. It’s so soft like you are sleeping on pillows. My daughters love it so much. I brought them a new mattress less than a year ago and they too want me to buy them the mattress top. I bought this after looking at SO many different toppers and I thought I chose a good topper but it didn't work out for me. This definitely needed to be fluffed up in the dryer because out of the package it is very flat. I left it out for around 12 hours but it still needed help. The dryer did a pretty good job of helping it fluff up. There was no smell of any kind when it was unpacked. The mattress topper fit over a deep sized mattress with no issues and stayed put but I could only use it for two nights because this thing really retains heat and I kept waking up because of it. I do tend to run warm so if you don't have this issue it may work for you. I can't speak to whether it retains it's loft or flattens out since I only used it twice.
