Great for someone who is a "hot sleeper" - this topper did not get too warm to sleep on. It's comfy and firm at the same time - not a puffy sink down in sort of mattress pad. It comes compacted in a plastic sleeve and recommends waiting 42 hours before sleeping on it - but I left mine on the bed for about 8 hours and it was just fine. I was worried when I opened the package, I got a whoosh of odor, but it was gone as soon as the pad was completely out of the plastic. I also put my regular mattress cover over the topper. It is thick, so you have to be sure to have sheets that can accommodate the thicker mattress size. Definitely a good value and has added comfort to my bed.

As you can see we have a new bed! Very uncomfortable pillow top. Added the 2in mattress topper and it’s a 1000 times better. So comfortable. Fits perfectly on our king mattress with no trouble getting fitted sheet on. Keep in mind the sheet pocket size when ordering topper thickness. Does say to let topper sit for 42 hours. This is a picture from 2minutes after opening fluffs right up. No strong smell! Topper also comes with a great warranty. Recommend for the price.

The media could not be loaded. Came in a super compact roll, which I unfolded and then laid out to fluff up. It was quite easy to unpack! And I was surprised at how thick three inches actually is (for a mattress topper 😉) as well as the slow rebound quality. I’ve included a video demonstrating the squishiness/slow rebound. My butt sticks out enough that it creates a gap between my lower back and the mattress. With this topper, however, my butt sinks in more than the rest of my torso does, so my back gets to actually meet the mattress and therefore receives more back support than before. Edit: ^^ that said, I think three inches was a bit too much topper for me. I’m starting to notice that my shoulders don’t sink in with the rest of my back, causing me to sort of hunch while laying. This makes me quite stiff once I’m awake. Definitely something to consider! I haven’t noticed any intense odors, just the regular sort of “new” smell one should expect… I guess this topper smells vaguely like glue or play dough (delicious/s) BUT I have to really get it up my nose/sniff it to perceive that. Edit: If you’re using a thick comforter or blanket, chances are that you’re gonna heat up with this topper regardless of whether you have air conditioning on. Otherwise, I haven’t noticed any temperature issues. (And trust me, I’ve had sleeping surfaces suddenly heat up on me in the night due to the material)

As the title states, this thing still has strong odor. I set it on the covered porch for a few days to air out, no change. Sprayed with vinegar to get rid of the odor, very little change. Maybe I'll soak it in the pool next. Otherwise, it's decently comfortable. I cut it down to fit my truck camping setup, and I guess it helps a little. Slightly better than sleeping on the cot. The big problem is the scent.

There are several of these toppers being sold on Amazon and they're all the same, but this seller sells it for a really good price. I highly recommend the 2-inch topper if you're using this with an air bed!
