My daughter is hyped for Moana 2 and these figures are only helping to build her excitement for the movie. We don't know the full context of the characters that are in this play set, but she doesn't seem to care. They aren't super articulated and are on the smaller side, but that makes them easier to take different places, but I am worried that they will fall into the abyss that is her room. I got this for my 3 year old little girl and she is obsessed with it, especially after seeing the movie. The little figurines are great quality although there are quite a few tiny pieces so you want to keep them in a bag when not in use 😂

    • Nieces went crazy...
My nieces are Thai. Asian looking Disney characters are hard to come by. Mulan, Raya, and Jasmine (Aladdin) somewhat fits. But darker skinned Pacific islanders also fit too. We got these just before she boarded a plane to Thailand to visit family. These were packed along with our usual care package. Like I said in the subject, my nieces went crazy for these. They have seen the trailers and know the new movie is coming out and they are ready for it. They joked that Kele (a guy in the second film) looks like their great grandma. I know her as Grandma, and I agree. These are made by Mattel and for Disney. Winning combination. Great quality and the real deal. Note: My wife was raised in Thailand. She came from a poor family, but managed to get a college scholarship. Got her bachelors and then come to the USA to get her masters. She is a true success story in my eyes. She has shared about how she never had a doll of her own when she was growing up. She likes to shower her nieces with dolls. ... show more

I am saving this to give my daughter on Christmas so I haven't opened it yet, but all of the characters look just like the movie. There are movable parts and arm/leg joints which children can use to manipulate the figures. Overall, this is a nice little set of figures from the movie.
