This was purchased the replace the one that the home builder put in. It was cheap and kept falling off of the wall. This one is great. There are enough sections to go from a small space to a large one. The pressure fit is not a spring loaded push tension, but rather a threaded screw tension so you get the perfect fit with continuous pressure. The added brackets are perfect for lining it up evenly on both sides and it comes with the option of using augers and screws, or double backed foam tape. This is a GREAT shower bar for a GREAT price.

I needed a new shower-rod as what I had was one of those older style ones with the small ends. This one is great, the wide rubber pads make it so its not going anywhere, but I went ahead and used the "brackets" that came with it, this makes sure that it stays in place, no accidental knocking your curtain down. It has been a while since I put it up and had actually forgotten about it until recently when visiting family and the one they had constantly was falling down and remembered I haven't had that issues in ages! I like that its the matte look, as so much stuff tends to be chrome and I am not a huge fan of that.

Installed this rod to hold a curtain to the entrance of my master bedroom hallway for some additional privacy. I screwed the bracket into the wall for extra support. Only took a few mins to have it up and working well. Very sturdy and holds tension well even without the additional brackets. Was glad it included screws and mounting tape (though I didn't use the mounting tape, was nice that the kit included everything needed for any installation. I cant speak of it's use in a humid environment like a bathroom but for my purposes it's been a charm.

I ordered two of these rods in different lengths. The longer one was perfect with no issues. The shorter one needed to be 38” and the shortest it would go was about 43”! We ended up cutting it down to work with the size rather than return it, but we should not have had to do that. They’re very easy to hang and tighten. They feel stable with just the sticky pads instead of screws. The metal has held up well and doesn’t seem to scratch easy. They’ve held 4 37”x63” curtain panels each with no problem. In all, they work fine but beware the shorter sizes unless you feel like trimming the metal pole yourself!
