Great shower curtain rod! This is easily 10x better the your regular tension rods. The way these sit in the rod holder make It slip “proof” and will not tear up your walls. Very secure and looks great. Would definitely purchase again.

I brought this shower curtain rod in the matte black finish (32" to 80") for my main and 2nd bathroom in my new apartment. It came with the tension rod, 2 support ends, screws, and 3m stickers for both support ends. Installation was really easy. I just screwed the supportive ends to each wall at end of the shower area, screwed the two rod ends together, placed the rod in the support ends, and increased the tension until it should not be moved. It has not moved since I installed it on 01/05/2026. It has been 5-months since I installed this rod -- it has not shown any signs of rusting. I am really impressed to see that my daughter's shower rod has not bent (or bowed). She tends to tung on her shower curtain when getting in and out of the shower -- causing her past rods to bend (or bow).

We ordered two different rods in order to choose which we liked the best and while each had its own tradeoffs, both were quite nice. This bar seems to over the best value and can be sold for less since the shipping box is tiny, it came in 5 segments. The segmented design is probably the only thing we don't like -- it produces a much noisier shower curtain as the hooks drag across all those threaded sections. Beyond that, the color is great, design is simple and attractive, build quality isn't premium but still exceeds its price AND includes these handy adhesive hooks...though they are ugly and don't fit the design language of the rod. So if the segmented design doesn't bother you, this actually is a great rod. We ended up choosing the other rod because, again, the threads made too much noise for our taste. The bar we are comparing it to ( https://amzn.to/45p0B5O ) has just two sections, therefore 1 ridge. It is also shown against this bar the attached pictures. Both are nice, you'll have to choose your priorities.

I just moved out of a house that had a shower with a door into a house that had a tub shower. My landlord Left me a shower curtain rod but for some reason I could not get that sucker to stay up there. So I went and bought this one. I bought it because of those things on the end that stick to the wall and hold up the curtain rod. I really appreciate that the double-sided tape that's included really holds those in place. But what's even better is that there are two screws for each of those and that if needed I can go in and screw those panels into the wall. Be aware that there are more than enough sections here for a large wide shower. I did not eat to use all of them. In fact I was really glad to have them because one of those sections stuck improperly and it took me awhile to get undone and I was able to use the extra section to fill in the space. It looks really good and I'm really glad to have spent the money for this. It's definitely worth it.
