I knew my dog was going to enjoy this. The pack comes with 2 so if one is in the dishwasher, you have another one on hand OR if you have 2 dogs, each one will be entertained. The first thing I noticed is that the suction cups at the bottom work effectively on my kitchen counter, but when I moved the mat to my floor, the suction cups didn't actually stick. So basically depending on your flooring, this mat may stay in place. In reality, it gives my dog an extra element of entertainment if she has to follow the tray a bit. The second thing I noticed, is that this tray holds a lot of peanut butter so if you have a small dog, you probably don't need to use up the entire tray with peanut butter. Too much peanut butter can make your small dog gain some extra lbs. I have to be careful with this because I own a dachshund. Ultimately, I love this mat and it's worth the purchase. ... show more

I have a new puppy that really dislikes going into his crate during the day, which is making my life difficult. I got these to put in the crate with him to help him learn to enjoy it more. So far so good - he gets so wrapped up in cleaning off the mat he has no idea where he is! I’ve used it with peanut butter, cream cheese and canned dog food. One tip - if you want to secure the suction cups tightly, stick it to the surface before spreading the food on it. Otherwise you will get pretty messy pushing it down. ... show more

These are nice silicone mats, and they came with a small spatula. I put greek yogurt, with a little peanut butter, and a splash of honey on the mat, and my dog loooved it. Not only did it keep her entertained, she slept like a rock for a while after she was done. Win in our house. Only criticism is it is a bit difficult to push down suction cups to fully secure, but it stuck well enough not to move around. ... show more

Our cats get a combo of dry and wet food, but they are super fast eaters, so these help slow them down. They also tend to gobble up every last bit of food, so while it's a little tricky for them to completely clean off the surface of these patterns, they work on them long enough to get most of the food and not really waste much. The suction cups on the back work pretty well on most surfaces, though they don't stick to our textured kitchen tile floor much at all. They still stay in place based on the rubberized silicone. Highly recommend cleaning them immediately after a meal to make it easier on yourself. But they clean up pretty well with a brush and some soap and water. ... show more

I've used these a few times already. I put peanut butter on it to trim my bernese mountain dog's claws. It even comes with a spatula!

    • Great for dog enrichment
So simple and keeps the dog busy and happy for a good 15-20 minutes with peanut butter. Great for getting them into a crate or relaxed during a storm. Cleans up pretty easily with a scrub brush in the sink or just run them through the dishwasher.
