It arrived in a sealed package and looked thin ... THEN I opened the package and it started inflating! It appeared thick and cushiony! I put it on my mattress and it FITS beautifully with nice DEEP POCKETS for a perfect fit. I put the sheets over and laid down ... HEAVEN!!! My new mattress felt EVEN BETTER than I thought it could! Really nice pad. When I unpacked it it was pretty flat and I had read of others who had experienced the same so I put it in the dryer on heat for about 20 minutes. When I removed it I was really surprised to see how much it fluffed up. Nice and deep to go around thick mattresses. Very comfortable to sleep on. ETA- I just washed this for the 3rd time and it came out just like new. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mattress pad, it's just great! ... show more

I got this 5 days ago and now I have bed bugs! It looked a bit moldy on one spot and then I saw bugs!! So disgusting, now I need to get a whole new bed, sheets, pillows, everything!!! The MATTRESS COVER was soft, silky and very comfortable to sleep on. The pockets measured 19.6 inches and that was without pulling on it. It fit my mattress with plenty extra if you have an exceptionally thick mattress. This is a mattress cover NOT a feather bed which is much thicker than a mattress cover. This cover protects the mattress and does not add height to the mattress. If looking for a mattress cover...this one is great. ... show more

I needed a new mattress pad, and this one was a good price and had decent reviews. It came shrink-wrapped with no labels, so I was worried about fit. Once I put it on my (queen) bed, the fit is very good. Deep pockets keep it on my mattress, and the cushions are pretty full. We also use a memory foam topper, and this fits over that, no problem. We got this for a futon in the guest room, specifically in preparation for a guest coming over. Prior to that, the mattress had a protector and nothing else, and it was firm but slightly uncomfortable because you could feel pressure from the springs. This pad proved to be exactly what was needed to take the comfort a few steps higher, to the point that I had actual difficulty getting my guest to leave the bed! It's just thick enough to mask the pressure from the springs, though not thick enough that the overall firmness of the mattress was affected, which was perfect for our needs. Your needs may vary, however, and I could see some finding it not quite soft enough as it's not very thick. The description lists it as being "cooling breathable," but we haven't noticed any change in the mattress's propensity for holding onto heat whatsoever. In that sense, I'd say it's a positive that it doesn't make things any warmer, but do take any claims to the opposite with a grain of salt. ... show more
