    • Absolutely loving this so far: body is no longer aching and I'm finally getting comfortable sleep.
I purchased this mattress topper without much hope: I have chronic back and shoulder pain and I just needed some kind of relief. Unfortunately, with my busy work schedule, I don't really have time to go to a chiropractor so I needed to find a more practical solution. Cue in this topper. I happened upon this during a Lightning Deal and noted the high reviews. A lot of people seemed to agree that it brought comfort to them and helped with cooling during summers. Pretty much checked off all the boxes I was looking for in bed support. Upon arrival I was underwhelmed though. It came in a small box and I couldn't see how it could expand to fit the "amazingly fluffy" and "it shot me backwards when it unfolded" descriptions. Even when I opened the box itself and released the topper from its vacuum-sealed package, I still wasn't feeling the power. I figured it just needed to 'settle in' so I went ahead and fitted it on my bed. A handful of reviews noted that it did not fit their beds perfectly. On my Queen-sized bed, it fit with about 4 centimeters to spare (so nothing significant). All-in-all, it works because I was able to fit my bed and the topper in my dust-mite cover. Anyway, that night I had the best sleep that I've ever had in a very long time. Usually it takes me 5-6 hours of rolling around to achieve sleep, along with 10mg of melatonin if I haven't already taken it often throughout the week. That night though, within the hour, I was so sound asleep that I drooled for the first time in years as well. That was how good the sleep was. Every day since then has been the same (but with less drool this time). I only ordered this 5 days ago and I usually wait a few weeks before I even start on a review just to make sure quality is there. This comforter, however, has been nothing short of amazing so far. If there is any difference in comfort from when I first got it, then I will change this review. So far this has given me such good sleep with no more aching body, so I wanted to go ahead and post my testimonial that may or may not be subject to change. I bought this for an old foam mattress. Primarily to provide coolness to the hot mattress. It added a nice cushion to it. It felt like sleeping on a cloud. I really liked it. I’m not sure how much coolness it provided. Maybe a bit because of the space away from the foam. The bad thing is that this thing was huge. It just barely fit in my washer. After about 6 months, the sides got caught in the tumbler, burned, and ripped. I’m lucky it didn’t catch fire and break the washer. But i had to throw it away, and went back to a normal mattress pad. ... show more

I cannot believe that I did not purchase a new mattress pad sooner! My mattress pad was probably 10 years old and I would have to fight it to get it to go over the mattress and the sides were starting to rip. My main goal for purchasing this one was because I bought a 3 inch egg topper that was lavender scented and knew that my old mattress pad would not cover the topper and the mattress. The lavender smell was so overwhelming that I knew I needed to cover it with a mattress pad to help with the over whelming odor. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this mattress pad. The sides are amazing! I have a 13 inch mattress plus a 3 inch egg crate topper and the stretchy sides have no problem covering the 16 inches there is plenty more room if needed. I'm a night eater and sweat in my sleep a lot. At the same time I like bundling in my comforter so I get hot easily. Ever since I've rarely gotten too hot or sweaty (I did change my diet too) but with the added comfort it doubles as a soft mattress cover. The instructions say to leave it in the sun but if you're like me you don't have that option, flatten it out on your bed for about 30min so it can stretch out from the tight packaging. Then put it in the dryer on the low setting for about 20min. You're all good ... show more

I bought this for my granddaughter who founded the bed she had to sleep on for a while, was as she put it “like sleeping on cement”. We got this to put over her foam mattress topper she needed to buy. This bed was hard. She temporarily moved into a place where she isn’t bringing her mattress at home. I am super picky, and found this to not have any odor at all right out of bag, but we did air it out in the sun. It poofed up in the breeze. This mattress cover has the smoothest hand to it. Feels like a supima cotton. And it is so soft. When I took it off line I just hugged it it was so comfy. She put over the foam topper and she said it is heaven. I bought one today for myself. Pleasantly surprised by this mattress topper. I have had my pillow top mattress for a while but it’s not time to replace it quite yet. It’s losing a little of its softness since it is only one sided so I was looking for something to add some softness back. This was a great fit. I’ve been sleeping better through the night and waking up with less back soreness. It is not super thick, so I think your results may be different depending on what kind of mattress you put it on but it works nicely on mine. I also think it has helped with coolness a little bit. I’ve been sleeping on it for about two months and have had no issues. I also didn’t let it sit out in the sun. It had no odor, so I just unboxed it and let it sit on my bed to fluff while I washed my linens. ... show more
