I didn’t expect much when I ordered this product. I am a 37 (almost 38) year old mom of 3 with several autoimmune disorders, rheumatoid arthritis being one of them. Most mornings I would wake up so stiff that it was hard to get moving. I felt like a statue. When I was able to get up and moving I was in SO MUCH pain. I thought a lot of that was contributed to my mattress cause it is getting up in age. I thought, before I go and drop $3k on a new mattress let me see if a topper will help relieve some of the pain so I know if replacing my mattress will put me in the right direction. I’ll be honest I had LOW expectations because how can 2 inches of foam really help?? But let me tell you, this set has truly changed my life. I’ve only been sleeping on it for 4 nights but the last 4 nights have been COMPLETELY pain free! I don’t think I even change positions in the middle of the night because it’s SO comfortable! I didn’t notice any smell when I opened it like some of the other reviews mentioned. I let the foam layer inflate for 24 hours and the “pillow top” layer inflate for 24 hours before sleeping on it. I was hesitant to purchase this product but a review from other client gave ne the confidence to do it. I am so glad I did! 😊 It so comfortable to sleep in my bed now. I have suffered from back pain and fibromyalgia for years, very hard to rest or to find a bed that would help. The first night I used thus mattress topper, OMG, what a relief. Finally found something that really helped me every day. It's the perfect balance between firm and soft. Excellent product. I know you have to fix it every couple days because it moves down but, most of the mattress toppers do the same thing. I have tried many before. I have a soft mattress and end up sinking into it after a couple minutes and was hoping this product would firm it up a little. It is comfortable don’t get me wrong, but I still end up sinking into the mattress. Less than before, but still noticeable. This may be better for a firm mattress that needs to be softened out, but if you have an already soft mattress in hopes of firming up a bit, I wouldn’t go with this product for that purpose. For the price point, this is an excellent option. We have an ‘Ultra Firm’ mattress, that was just that - ultra firm. We wanted something to help since we are both side sleepers. This has made it feel like a completely new bed. Not too much cushion that you sink in, but just enough to help us sleep the way we like.
