Tilly sees books in her brother's room and finds an invitation to a bawdy house masquerade. She wants to know what it is all about and goes. There she finds Alexander, Earl of Rockfort, who finds her intriguing and takes her to a private room. He shows her what she has been missing. She goes again. He is also there looking for her. When they see each other, he shows her more of what occurs in that house. This time she leaves before he wakes. They meet a third time, but it is at a respectable ball. Will they recognize each other? Will they go beyond the pale? I enjoyed this story very much. I liked Tilly and her determination not to be left on the shelf. I also liked Alexander and his knowing she had no experience but his desire to show her. I enjoyed them meeting again and seeing another aspect of what is possible. I loved when they met at the ball and had to be circumspect, but I loved when he got her to the garden and all bets were off there. I'd like to see a longer story with Tilly and Alexander to see how they progress together. ... show more

Good mini story. Only 40 pages so it is very quick paced. Would have made a wonderful full length book. Edited well and characters are likable. Very easy quick read.

    • Short Sweet and WOW!!!!!
Sometimes I don't feel like reading a whole story. I just want to read the good parts. This definitely delivers! A little story to it but some really smoking love scenes I enjoyed this short read very much. This author knows how to write! Do men really do these to women? I'd like to meet one or two.
