The MasterBlend Combo Kit, contains all 3 concentrated dry powdered and water soluble components needed for the recommended recipe in the proper amounts. The classic MasterBlend recipe calls for 12g MasterBlend, 12g Calcium Nitrate, and 6g Epsom Salt for 5 gallons of nutrient solution, where each component is mixed into the water individually. We have packed the MasterBlend Master kits in larger quantities to provide you with a better value in a one-stop kit. Available in quanties from 1lb to 62.5 pounds. Packed in clear bags by PowerGrow Systems (authorized MasterBlend distributor). The 2.5 Pound Kit contains: 1LB MasterBlend, 1LB Calcium Nitrate, 0.5LB Epsom Salt. I tried many other fertilizers and they didn’t keep my plants alive in my hydroponic system. This one works wonders and since it is not a liquid it will pretty much last you a lifetime. I will say having to mix all three parts together is mildly inconvenient and sometimes I have trouble getting everything to dissolve but that’s generally because I just throw them all together in one container and shake and it. Anyway I 10/10 recommend this as far as value for the money and quality of the nutrients. (I generally grow vegetables but I have grown flowers as well with no issue) ... show more

5 star for this fertilizer, but 2 star for the price point of the 2.5 lb kit (1lb/1lb/0.5lb) plus $4.95 S&H. That is not a good buy. I have used this several times for hydroponic vegetables and they love it, but my bad in purchasing the smaller kit. Very good nutrients for growing vegetables in hydroponic tanks. This quantity is good for me because I only have 4 Kratke grow tanks, and I don't use a lot for each tank. Consequently this fertilizer lasts at least a year before I need to purchase more.
