I wanted to try out airbrushing so I chose this kit to try out. It seems to do the job although I have already found that the siphon feed style probably wasn't the best choice for me. The 3/4oz jars are a bit too large for my use and being siphon fed, doesn't fully use every last drop which is a bit frustrating when I just need a little bit of a color paint. Cleaning of the jar takes more time and uses more cleaner as well. The airbrush comes with a 0.5mm nozzle and needle and the kit also has 0.3mm and 0.8mm nozzles and needles although I haven't yet found a need for either of them but its' good to know I have them as I learn more. The kit also comes with a decent quality hose of good length for my purposes. It does not come with a quick disconnect as it describes but instead it had some sort of barbed swivel fitting which is unnecessary considering the hose already has swivel fittings on both ends and will connect directly to the airbrush. Maybe the extra barb fitting is just incase you need to repair the hose or cut it shorter. The only actual problem I have had with this airbrush was that the fluid control knob on the end was too loose and would not stay set. Upon inspection it appeared that the rubber O-ring used to add friction to the knob was just a hair undersized. Fortunately I happened to have an O-ring that fit it perfectly and now it stays set. The case it came in works okay and has foam cutouts for the airbrush, jar and wrench but is laid out differently than in the picture and does not have cut outs for the extra nozzles and needles (nor a good spot to add cut outs for them due to the layout). So the nozzles and needles (which are in their own holders as shown) just kind of roll around on top of the foam. The included "Training Book" is more of a generic airbrush user's manual and is pretty disappointing for learning techniques but decent for basic use and care tips. There is a web address listed in the book for TCP Global's "Learning Center" but is a dead link. I did find the FAQ section of their website to be usable though. Overall I am happy with the airbrush and the kit and I do feel that I got my money's worth but I am only giving 4 stars since the quick disconnect described wasn't included and I don't like when the picture doesn't match the actual product. Still, I would buy again from Master/TCP Global and do intend to purchase one of the gravity feed airbrushes they offer.

Let me start off my review by saying that the first unit I received was faulty; the thread on the airbrush was thicker than spec and I was unable to thread it onto my compressor hose. I contacted TCPGlobal, and within 3 business days received a new airbrush which worked flawlessly. In the meantime, I had bought myself a neo for iwata dual action suction feed airbrush, so am able to compare the two back to back. Pros: - The price is great. For 1/3 the msrp of the neo (~$129), you get a dual action siphon airbrush with 2 extra tip sizes. Spare tips for the neo cost $26 retail, so this kit is quite a bargain. - The spray pattern is very smooth with good atomization. Comparable to the neo. - The paint throw action is very smooth and easy to control amount of paint. Again, comparable to the neo. - Fits 1/8" BSP connections, similar to neo/iwata airbrushes. This includes regulators, water traps and quick release connectors. Will not fit Paasche, Talon or Aztek connectors without an adapter. The included hose is 1/8" at both ends, whereas Iwata compressors are 1/4", so you will need an adapter if you are using an Iwata compressor. Cons: - As mentioned, I had some manufacturing tolerance issues. Some other users here have had some other problems, so inspect your unit carefully. - The air trigger is harder to modulate than the neo, being more on/off than linear. Depending on your spraying technique/habits, this may or may not be a problem (I was fine with it for my purposes - Gunpla). - The siphon connector likes to trap a bit more paint than the neo, so takes (slightly) more effort to clean. Be fastidious between uses and you won't have a problem. After my poor experience with the first sample I received, I debated whether to give this product 3 or 4 stars, but the fantastic support I received from the retailer and the exemplary performance of the second unit pushed this to a 4. It may not be the highest end dual-action airbrush around, but it is punching in a weight class of airbrushes $100 or more than the entire kit. Color me impressed.

I bought this as a gift of other parts of gift for my niece thatโs a make up artist. She will use this for make, nails, and arts. She started to earn a lot more since she received this airbrush. I am happy I bought this for her!

I used to airbrush in my younger days and missed the art of it. I went shopping for one and couldn't see spending that much on a set up, so I checked here while I was in the stores. I came across this one and thought it would be fine since I'm not going all out and just wanted to mess around on smaller projects like motorcycle helmets, wood, and clothing. The set came with everything posted in the listing. However, I did need to buy an adapter for my air compressor and I went ahead and bought a longer hose as well. I know I'm rusty but I couldn't seem to get a consistent smooth stroke. The lines were a sporadic and blotchy. I'll practice more but so far after a few weeks it still does this. My son thought it would be cool to play around with it. I taught him the basics and he kept trying and trying to get some smooth lines with no luck. I've cleaned it out and tried again. Tried different paints, tried different needles, but nothing has made the lines any better. I haven't returned it because for full coverage I think I'll be okay for small projects. However for anything that needs fine details, I'll have to hand paint it for now. I gave it four stars only because it did come with everything that was listed and it does work, just not as well as I hoped it would.
