I've been using air brushes for a number of years to paint scale plastic models. I came across the Gaahleri and found it to be an amazing air brush. I find the trigger mount to be much easier use than the standard top trigger. The brush feels very comfortable in my hand and seems to give me very good control of what I'm painting. This brush works better than some of my more expensive air brushes. Good flow and easy to clean. I like that two needles are provided with the kit. I've used both and are very acceptable. This is a great brush, and the perfect brush for beginners in my opinion. The pistol grip is vastly ergonomically superior to pen style brushes. Flow is smooth. It comes with 2 needle sizes, 2 cup sizes, a QD attachment, extra o rings, a diagram of the internals, and a troubleshooting guide. My product was defective, but they sent me a new one for free when I emailed them and that one works great. If yours is defective, don't return it through Amazon, just contact gaahleri through the email on their website and they will send you a new brush for free. ... show more

    • Great value for an essential tool!
I had been looking for trigger airbrush for a bit and saw a video review on this and was intrigued by the quality and value for the money. It comes with two needle sizes and paint cups, making very versatile for small and larger jobs. It is relatively easy to clean and maintain too, which is a great plus! Since this is a relatively new company, I’m hoping that replacement parts will be available soon to keep on hand for the future to maintain a long life for this tool. I’ve been very happy with its performance so far , it handles primers, acrylics and lacquers with relative ease and atomizes paint well. Control is great too with the trigger grip, great for large jobs. An airbrush is a must have tool to add to your hobby arsenal, I recommend this unit for anyone looking for a quality product at a great price. ... show more

Typically this type of air brush is easier to use, but the needles included make this a very versatile air brush for beginners and experts alike. The parts and castings seem identical to the Tamiya product of the same. Great starter or backup brush.

    • Nicer than expected
As a beginner, airbrush artist, I have had to depend on Internet reviews, and Google reviews to try to get exactly what I wanted. After seeing a few reviews of this airbrush, I decided to test it out. Right out of the box it sprayed nicely however, it was only single action meaning as soon as I pull the trigger back, I would get paint tried as I my I couldn’t. figure out how to make it work as a double action. It’s sprayed so nice it was really a non-issue for me. After a month I decided to take it all apart and it wasn’t until I found the needle chuck that I figured out that it needed to be tightened and positioned correctly. I now have the added benefit of it working as a double action nothing was wrong with it and so I love it even more. It has a very consistent and perfect atomization rate and the dual cups make it fantastic for the larger jobs I had wanted to put it through. the pistol grip is not that hard to get used to and it is quickly one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend this one to have in your arsenal as it sprays amazing and bang for your buck I feel you’re getting a great piece of equipment ... show more

I have been using Iwata airbrushes for a while and I must say the change to this airbrush was very impressive. Love the pistol grip configuration. Spray pattern is even and no spitting. The airflow through the nozzle, thanks to their innovative design, is constant and very accurate. Cleaning isn't pretty easy too! Highly recommend this airbrush, which would cost much more to have a major brand name stamped on it. ... show more

    • BEWARE of open box being sold as new
I received the airbrush today. Upon opening the shipping box, I noticed that the airbrush box had its seal broken and the words "void" clearly visible. I checked out the box and all items were in the box but the trigger was difficult to move. After a few tries I decided that this was an opened box somehow returned and then sold again. BEWARE if the purple warranty seal is broken. I returned the same day I received it. Will check the next replacement if it too is suspect. ... show more

    • Great quality and nicely packaged
We love these airbrushes come with the nice boxes shadowed for storing them. Also for the price they perform extremely well and the quality feel from their weight and finish really give you nice control when using them. The adjusters on the back of them is a good add for when you’re not wanting to pull the trigger too much. We use them about four days out of the week and they haven’t let us down or given us any problems. Just clean them after use like you’re supposed to and they will keep performing like new. ... show more
