    • Vastly superior to other airbrush models, once you get used to them
After buying G233's for years, I bought this G79 model because it came with the larger 0.8mm needle set, and the swappable cup sizes, and now I'm never going back. Yes, it's more expensive, but it is so much easier to control and most importantly, clean. For the type of painting I'm doing, which is model work, I prefer adjusting paint flow using the adjustment control valve on the underside. The pistol grip trigger is much more comfortable to use for extended spray sessions, and being able to remove and clean the cup separately and get down inside the chamber is a great design improvement. ... show more

    • A good airbrush for the experienced, not so much for new users.
Let me preface this by saying that I am not experienced with airbrushing, so this review will be from the point of view of someone who is just getting in to airbrushing and doesn't know how all of the parts of an airbrush work by heart. I originally purchased this because my G233 airbrush was causing finger cramps from the way I had to hold it. Fortunately, this brush feels a lot more ergonomic and hasn't caused any finger pain after using it. While that was great, figuring out how to use and troubleshoot this brush has been very frustrating. The manual that comes in the box is basic and does not explain how to take your airbrush apart or what the individual components do. As a result, I had to rely on my own research to figure out the proper use methods for this brush as well as how to clean it when it malfunctioned. I'm sure those of you who are knowledgeable about airbrushing won't have this issue, but it's something worth considering if you need reliable instructions to get you started. ... show more

    • love it way more that my Iwattas
ok first off i have never airbrushed, rarely spray paint and do own an hvpl minimite or fujji se4mi pro.... that is fairly new, but i did learn to use it.... SO MASTER BRUSH...... Is it Better than my iwatta revolution, yes. better than the iwatta eclipse, YES!!!! why, maybe due tot the triger vs top lever to spray design, kept losing or getting damage to parts. and it was a Pain in the butthle cleaning those expensive iwattas, onlu to have to replace..... so just try this one, the triger feature is great all else awesome as well.those NOW , this is the second one of these I bought, but thats due to me losing a part that was not really small even. Sprays great, comes with extra needle sets,. love the extra control features, is pretty good quality and works great! ... show more

Let me say I was absolutely blown away by the quality I received with this airbrush! I was on the fence after reading some conflicting reviews, but after recovering this product and using it for a few days myself I am certain that the negative reviews are complete utter bullshit and probably troll reviews from the more expensive companies trying to trick the market into buying their over priced crap. This airbrush is simply a workhorse and I have purposely spent the first few days with it trying to throw something at it that it could not handle and to my surprise I have had no problem airbrushing everything available with no problem at all! This is truly a great airbrush and I have no doubt that it would probably perform on par or better than the so called “best” or “luxury” airbrushes. Don’t be a fool think it through and look at what you’re buying ba what they’re selling. When I looked objectively at this against the completion it was funny to me bc they are mirror images of each other yet the value here is clear as day! The only thing I am kinda not happy with is that I was under the impression that I would be getting a quick release with this purchase but instead I got some connection that I have not seen before so if there is any way that I could get a quick release instead of this weird connection thing then I would be totally head over heels with Master Airbrush. Regardless of that I am shocked that I have only used the .5 needle that came per installed yet the level of precision and the fine lines that I can produce blow away those that I was even able to dream of making with the .2 needle on my other airbrush! I can’t wait to see just how fine the details will get with the smaller .3 that was included and I have no doubt that the .8 will allow me to cover some serious square footage with no problem so it’s a good thing that this came with 3 different paint cups because this puppy can run through some paint in a hurry if you open it up. Likewise it can also really slow it down and allow the user to really get intimate while having complete control over details at any given moment. Master Airbrush, you have a customer for life right here! And if y’all are out there I would love to get that quick release if possible. And from the quality of this airbrush, I would be honored to take a spin at some of your other airbrushes! My pistol grip handle was a bit scratched up out of the box but I disregarded that since it has nothing to do with the functionality of the device but if it didn’t perform as well as it did I would have raised hell and that would have been where I started lol Trust me people this thing is a Cadillac but it’s priced like a Taurus. If you’re on the fence and thinking about spending more money, don’t do it! Save that money and get yourself some quality paint and quality cleaners to enjoy with this bad boy right here! Only regret is not buying this from day one like I wanted to instead of wasting time and money elsewhere. I will upload a video soon so that you can see this thing in action bc it’s nearly too good to be true. The micro adjustment valve is amazing btw and the trigger is like butter! I did lubricate with a little Badger Needle Lubricant but that is a no brainer anytime you get a new airbrush. If anything changes I will update but I doubt it bc this is a quality build you can feel it every time you touch it ... show more
