    • Great little booth
I am new to using a spray booth, but because of winter and having to spray indoors, I decided to get this. It is well made and designed, specifically for portability. I don't plan on moving it, but it seems to be well designed to pack it up and go. I used the extension hose and went out a window. You have to take of the metal grid and attach the adapter piece with a1/4 turn. This did work after several attempts, and one of the 4 tabs broke, so I just glued it. Note: I am using it with normal spray paint cans and NOT an airbrush, which I assume actually dispenses more paint volume than an airbrush. However, it seems to handle it well, although I will need to change the filter more often. The LED lights are well-placed and light the area effectively.     • Awesome for small set ups!
I've gotten into airbrushing as a hobby, and another one of my hobbies is 3D printing. Sometimes, to use up old filament, I 3D print decorative objects to give to family and friends. Recently I discovered I could give old, unwanted 3D prints new life by airbrushing them. It's often windy where I live, and I don't have a way to set up a reliable airbrushing workspace outdoors. So, I looked into small booths and decided to try this. This booth fits my needs almost perfectly. I'm one of the not-so-smart folks that doesn't wear a respirator, so I really wanted a booth that moved a lot of air. Between this booth's ability to do just that, and it's portable nature, I'm very much satisfied with this booth!! I have a glass top art desk, and the top can be tilted up to act as an easel of sorts. I'll tilt the top up for some painting and airbrushing on paper/canvas, then lay the top down flat for pencil/pen drawing, or for this booth. Setting up the booth is fairly easy and doesn't take long, and since my art desk is in front of a window, I can save the filter for next winter and use the included duct hose to rout air out of the window. With this, so long as I keep my airbrush and chemicals inside the booth, I get zero fumes. The booth does a great job at evacuating the fumes into the duct hose and out of the room. If I have any complaints about this booth, it's the lighting. Unlike other reviewers' experiences, the lighting in my booth is clear. It's not yellow or blue tinted. But, it's so bright and focused, it causes washout. It can be really difficult to airbrush small patterns and spaces on my 3D prints due to the intensity of the booth's lighting. For the price and other features of this booth though, I'll live with it and I'm glad that for once I'm not complaining about lack of lighting. I didn't think I'd appreciate this booth's portable nature as much as I do. It's so nice to set this up on my art desk for a few weeks to airbrush 3D prints, then completely take the booth down and set it aside so I can tilt my art desk's top up for some painting. The packed booth doesn't take up much space and is easily moved and transported. One nuance that intrigues me is that this booth runs on 12 volts. So, with fabrication of a proper lead, one could connect this to a 12 volt battery for power, allowing this booth to be truly portable and used even when there are no wall outlets nearby. But I'm starting to digress here. If you're looking for a portable airbrush booth whose features will work for you in a similar way as they have for me, then this one is very much worth considering! ... show more

    • Great station, very noisy tho!
Great product overall, however could use some improvements. Pros: Description accuracy: does what it says. Portability: folds up reasonably well but there is room for improvement. (Would love if the led lightbars could be stowed inside when folded as well) Light: the three light bars provide excellent light and are easy enough to install. However not as easily removed (more on that below). Cons: 1: while the majority of the product folds up beautifully (main unit, power cord and turntable all fit into the unit. The power cord even has it's own pocket built into the unit with a door that closes it inside). However, the led bars must be disassembled and removed and, from what I can tell, don't seem to fit into the unit when it's folded. The air ducts are also kind of difficult to collapse for travel. 2: build quality. Build quality is superb in most places but has some glaring issues in others. During my first use this unit drew blood during disassembly for storage. In my case, it was while removing the led light bars. They hold in tight, and required some force to remove. When they finally gave way, some sharp flashing on the plastic took some skin clean off of my knuckle. Definitely inspect your unit before assembly and disassembling identify potential sharp points. If the kit works the way you like, I would recommend sanding these sharp points down for safer assembly and disassembly. (Do not do this if you decide to return it, obviously). 3: noise. This thing is VERY noisy. I could hear it running from my 1st floor entryway and even from outside. Since I paint mostly at night, this may end up being a problem. This could be solved by having air ducts that don't have as much robbing inside (hopefully reducing some of the turbulence in the airflow) but then you lose the portability provided by it's ability to be collapsed. This also could be helped by an additional speed setting or two from the fan, im not always using rattle can so having a couple other speed settings that sacrifice airflow for better noise levels would be nice while I'm airbrushing. (This thing is noisier than my compressor) Overall, great paintbooth design with lots of potential. I hope they improve on the build quality so there is less plastic flashing left over from the main process on the light bars and opaque side and top panels that make up the shroud. (Otherwise, I recommend sanding or filing these down if you find the unit satisfactory as-is and don't plan on returning it). Would also love a better fan that is quieter and or multiple speed options so noise could be compensated for in situations where the max airflow isn't needed. ... show more

    • Awesome for the price
This is a excellent product for the money. I needed to paint some audio transformers for an amp I a restoring and needed a way to paint indoors and away from the Florida summer. This worked great, it’s easy to setup, the light bars not only work, but they are highly effective. The fan itself sucked up all the excess paint and most of the fumes. I left the blower running for two hours while the paint set up - and when I was done my house was odor free. The little turntable was also very useful. I also purchased the exhaust piping for this - it was essential for my needs. The piping worked fine, I should have placed some door seal around the exhaust portion but it did okay without it. When done the unit folds up and stows very nicely- except for the exhaust piping parts. Those you just have to put in a bag. When I ordered this I was expecting a POS, but it is not that. It is a very useful little paint booth. I could see myself working on models in this a lot. ... show more
