Looks cute from some distance away, but incredibly cheaply made. All the tubes fall out if you tilt it by accident so if you try to actually hang it from something, wind will 100% knock them all out. I know very little about bees, but I doubt they enjoy a wet home and there's nothing water resistant about this thing. It was completely soaked by rain. There is also a large gap on top because tubes don't completely fill the space. Overall it is an overpriced novelty not worth the $20 price tag, but I'm still hopeful bees will find it useful so 3/5. ... show more

Took it out of the box the back fell off and little tubes went everywhere. Had the reglue and reassemble everything. Some were partially glued together and some glued to the side. Not sure how this will hold up outdoors....

My first impression is that it is really durable, Large and small bamboo tubes alternately create a solid structure, has a slight taste of natural bamboo (I think this smell will attract bees). I really like the way they make the bee house in water drop shape, it gives me a feeling of being close to nature the width of the bamboo tube is just enough, I think the mason bees will quickly build their nests and lay their eggs here I have a lot of loofahs and pumpkins in my garden, I will hang it now and wait for the results, very suspenseful and exciting Highly recommended ... show more
