I suppose it’s not that big of a deal, but usually when I buy something built to hang it comes with the ability to be hung. I had to buy a hanging kit and nail it to the backside of the bee house. Not the worst thing I’ve had to do, but again, I don’t typical expect to have to engage in assembly after purchasing a finished product. ... show more

Update 2: just dropped my rating to four stars. The promise of getting replacement tubes is a scam. I’ve requested them three times. Even with a response from the seller to send my address, I never received any new tubes. Update: It has been 7 mos. now, and every tube has been filled! I have bees in my garden daily! I am so pleased with this outcome and plan to get replacement tubes for this house and buy a second one! Initial Review; This bee house has been hanging in my garden for four months now. I recently noticed that there were bees flying around it and now three of the tubes have been filled! I’m thrilled to be drawing more bees to an area that previously had very few pollinators. Haven’t placed this near my vegetable garden yet but can honestly say that it’s very well made . The only problem is the chicken wire that goes across the pine cones is stabled in. Wish they had put in piece that I can open and shut to replace the pine cones. Further review in the summer

    • There is NOT a very good hangar or fastener on it.
I don't like that they reaily did NOT include any hardware to HANG the Mason Bee house. I had to use my own wire and hardware. This is NOT what I was expecting for the price. A few holes driled in the top, OR a notch cut out to hang it on the hook would be handy. I would NOT buy this product again and I would NOT give it as a gift. ... show more

This is really a unique product. Bees are very important if you want a great garden and this little beauty is coming in very handy. It does not take long for it to start attracting the bees. I was pleasantly surprised to find a hand written note that came on top to show how much the seller cares about their customers; you do not see that much anymore.
