Great paint pen! Smells a little strong, but that dissipates when it dries. Edited after further use: I started having the problem with inconsistent flow and drips. Ruined one project and I had to start over. Be cautious of big drops of paint falling from the tip as you write!

These markers have simple directions, however, it takes a few moments to get the paint to start flowing. When it does, it is excessive and messy. I've replaced 3 sets now, thinking it was a fluke defect. Nope. For their cost, they should not run as easily as they do, and they should not dry out as quickly, either. ... show more

I purchased these markers for my guests to use on my canvas style guestbook. I did a trial with them and they work perfectly on the canvas. The only watch outs are: 1. the marker might bleed excessively at the first touch, or anytime a new guest uses the marker 2. The marker on the canvas takes a few seconds to dry depending on how much paint was on the marker I will be using these markers for my wedding in about a month. With AC Moore’s closing all their store, it has been hard for me to find anything that I like to use for my crafts. So glad that you have my favorite paint pens in extra fine, in white, silver, gold, and black. These pens are easy to use. I have had no problems with them until they start to run out of ink. I use these markers to sign photographs. Perhaps it was defective, but the white marker, which I use to sign black/white images, began dripping all over the place. Fortunately I wasn't holding it over the print when it happened. I'd already signed a number of color prints with the gold marker, without incident.
