Splitter works very well and simplifies different types of splitting: small log rough splitting and kindling splitting. It could have been sharper out of the box, but sharpening will be easy. Better sharpness and an idea for improvement are the only reason it gets a four. Pinning and allowing one set of lesg to hinge would have made the splitter easier to store and more portable.
