I wanted one with side windows and in tan color so I was a little limited on ones I could buy on Amazon. I've had a few of these over the years and this one is the lightest weight frame and tarp I've had. Assembly is tedious , no quick release pins like others, every connection is bolt and wingnut. Color is horrible, shows tan in pictures , actual color is a bright Salmon/Peach color almost fluorescent (2nd Picture) hard to see actually how bright it is in photo but a scrap of the normal tan color ones is covering wood in picture. Frame and legs are thin metal (picture 3 shows the legs of the ones I'm replacing, about a third less diameter) more than a few were dented bars and a few with damaged ends that needed straightening out to be able to assemble (picture 4 , one of many). Welds on connection pieces sloppy and poor quality (picture 1). . Unfortunately I had to have one right away so I had to use it otherwise I would have returned it . With the color, lightweight and quality of frame, light tarp material I would not buy this again. I don't normally go on a rant in reviews but this was a Disappointing investment. ... show more

Prior to purchase I checked reviews, seeing complaints about color, concern for 'bungie style' use for attaching outer cover and wing-nut use for frame. I find this "Port" to be an exceptional value! Color was not a concern for me (it is bright), the wing-nuts and bungies made life very easy (just be sure wing-nuts aren't going to interfere with the external cover). Thus far the "Port" has experience gusting wind and a rainstorm -- all is well. Only two issues that I have experienced: one of the grommets is pulling away from the external material, but is not under stress so no worry; rather than roll up one of the doors, I unzipped one side and duct taped the corner up -- the duct tape tore a bit of the external surface off -- again, no worries because it was a bottom corner. ... show more

    • is not as advertised, if you order by mistake you can not cancel they send it anyway.
the picture shows a ta tan color, I got a peach color canvas, the instructions are very vague, there is no assembely video, once you follow the cheap instructions on how to put the roof together you are on your own. it advertises HEAVY DUTY CANVAS, it is as thin as a garbage bag, the pre drilled holes do not line up so I hope you have a drill and bits.for the price I paid this is garbage, DO NOT BUY THIS ITS GARBAGE unless your like me with a 20 year construction backround and know how to fix all the problems that come with it. most of the pipe connections are bent and require extra tools to make them fit. absolute garbage for the price. ... show more

Overall, I like the design of the carport but I do not like that. It doesn't seal at the ends to keep debris and critters out of the carport. If I had bought a shelter logic carport I would have paid about twice as much money, but it would have been completely sealed. I was actually impressed that everything was there and I put it up by myself in around 3 hours. I still have to secure it, but I certainly like it much better than the ones I've had prior. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it could have been more stable.

This would be easy to assemble if several of the pipes weren't kinked or bent at the openings. We had a snow storm coming in and I needed this up NOW, not in 14 days when you either return something to Amazon or the manufacturer sends replacement pieces. So, up it went. I couldn't do anything about kinked pipes but I could round the holes in all the bent openings, and there was a lot of them. Took an hour just to straighten out the holes. I used concrete screws to anchor it, so it's not going anywhere and held up to 9" of snow. The worst kinked pipe bent though. If all the materials were good when it arrived, this would have been a cake walk.looks good, I like the windows, and it does a great job keeping my car out of the terrible weather. ... show more

    • If you want something "Heavy Duty" buy something else.
This item has been a nightmare since day 1. The anchors are junk, pulled out of the ground and the carport went flying through the air in moderate wind. Decided I would buy my own anchors, they worked great, to great in fact, the next wind storm ripped the roof off and left the legs standing. I ended up screwing them on with sheet metal screws and inserting rebar through the legs to try and salvage what was left of my less than 6 month old car port. The first snow we got collapsed the roof and bent all of the framing. I can not stress enough how poorly constructed this is. Do not buy it. It is the cheapest car port on amazon for a reason it is utter garbage, save yourself the trouble and buy a better one or build one yourself. I built my own for about 400 dollars in wood/tarps/screws etc and I wish i had just done that in the first place. Would have saved many hours of stressing and fixing this junk. ... show more
