Finally, a classic collection that holds all of the major X-Men vs Capcom fighting games. Each game generally feels great, though they are still going to have some of the difficulty and jank the original releases had. It was my surprise that Marvel Super Heroes quickly became my favorite despite the love for the Marvel vs Capcom games. In fact, most of the X-Men/Marvel focused games held more of my interest in the end. Having access to the secret characters, being able to save state, and of course access to the music library are incredible implementations. There is online for select games, though I never felt confident enough to engage. This late in the game don't expect matches of your level or for a variety of opponents. The only odd standout is the Punisher beat 'em up, but it is not entirely unwelcome. ... show more

It's Mahvel Baby. Best fighting game hands down. The new fighting generation cannot play this game. This game is advanced and has no easy input option. You're going to have to put in the work boys and girls. Also watch out for the Wazzler and Ducvader. Just have fun and don't rage quit.

1.These gems are now playable on modern hardware which is great 2.Unsure of all but XvsS and Mvc1 have certain glitch fixes(Uncombo) that ruin the exp for the hard-core players 3. Great addition to practice mode like recording and replaying inputs, hitbox, restart position 4. Sucks that certain player skill level are so high due to emulation online and previous arcade experience that some players are practically unbeatable and play only popular teams and do not create their own blue prints just mimic other players 5.Online runs well overall, a lot of players seem to think wifi is good for fast pace fighting games where every frame counts used WIRED ONLY 6. As a more aged gamer I do not see the joy in achievements anymore besides bragging rights but maybe that's all it's every been 7. It's cool that switch and Xbox have a release and 1 button moves are available for the not so strong players 8. Mods are available to change color pals and background music which keeps the game fresh 9.Rematch mod is needed badly esp for ranked games 10. Should be able to block players to no longer play annoying people 11. All and all enjoyable experience especially for old school gamers such as myself 4 stars ... show more
