  • Good activity for my grandson
My grandson is 4 and has very limited experience with video games, so I think this was perfect for him. It's simple and not for kids with higher skills. He enjoys it a lot, and is always excited to play, but his older sister who is 9 got bored with it after a few times of play. The product seems durable and is a good size for him. ... show more

  • Great action for kids!
I got this for my 8 year old nephew and he immediately sprang into action. He picked one of the tokens and went into training mode. We had to force him to stop when it was time for dinner. There is an instruction manual included, but it is not required. The game and instructions are very intuitive for kids. The game is perfect in size and seems to be durable and will give hours and hours of quality game time for them. For a price of $30, it is reasonable given the amount of play time that it provides. ... show more

  • Needs improvement but my kid loves it!
So my initial impression wasn't great, it needs some way to store the little tokens it comes with, and they are hard to insert/remove for a kid, sound isn't super loud and he often has to hold it to his ear to hear the "missions" from the heroes. That being said, my 7 YO has been playing with it since it showed two days ago. He's went threw all the missions running around the house and rolling and jumping and having fun, so all in all it's a good toy for him. ... show more

  • "Tiny feet, big missions. Saving the world one juice box break at a time."
The Marvel Super Hero Trainer is a brilliant way to turn screen time into superhero time. It’s a fresh, fun idea that actually gets my little one off the couch and into action: Jumping, dodging, and saving the world one mission at a time! With 40+ heroes and villains to engage with, it brings the thrill of a Marvel adventure right into our living room. Perfect for summer break and happy to have another activity that doesn't require a TV, tablet, or smartphone. ... show more

  • Fun Way to Burn Energy Indoors
My kids absolutely love this. It keeps them moving and engaged without even realizing they’re exercising. They get so excited picking a hero token and jumping into “training mode.” It’s been a great way to burn off energy, especially on rainy days. Setup was simple, and they caught on quickly. I like that it encourages both activity and a bit of goal setting. ... show more

  • Avengers assemble!
This is for your budding superhero. This is the kind of technology that gets kids active. The voice commands direct the action while the accelerometer tracks their movements. Think of it like simplified Bop It. It also has a training mission map to help them chart their progression.

  • Exercise Disguised as Fun
Some kids are bursting with energy, but these days with all the video games and screen time, they are moving less and less. A toy like this makes a huge difference since it occupies their interest just as much, if not more than a video game, and is actually good for their minds and bodies. This is for my nephew, who is already an active 8yr old - but instead of unfocused bursts of crazy energy, he will have something very, very interesting to channel it through. Love it. ... show more

  • Marvel Super Hero Trainer – A Fun Concept That Lacks Interactive Feedback for Modern Kids
The Marvel Super Hero Trainer is a concept that certainly holds appeal, especially for young kids who dream of becoming superheroes. It’s cool in its premise of encouraging active play with beloved Marvel characters. However, a notable limitation of this interactive fitness toy is its lack of real-time response to a child's actions. The toy issues commands like "dodge," "duck," or "kick," prompting movement, but it doesn't actually recognize or track whether the child successfully performed the action. This absence of movement tracking means there's no immediate feedback or score to validate the child's efforts. My child, for instance, didn't stay engaged with it for as long as I had hoped. This might be partly due to his experience with modern game systems that offer similar interactive play but crucially provide visual feedback on screen, allowing him to see his actions directly translate into on-screen responses. Without that dynamic, responsive element, the toy’s ability to sustain prolonged engagement diminishes, particularly for kids accustomed to more sophisticated interactive experiences. While the idea is strong and it encourages physical activity, the lack of actual motion sensing and response is a missed opportunity that could limit its long-term appeal for today's digitally native children. ... show more
