(Will come back and update if I need to) Wow. I mean, WOW! Y’all, I’m blown away. I’ve had my eyes on nice watches for a while. Specifically, Automatic Skeleton Watches. BUT there was always 1 problem. And funny enough, it wasn’t the price point. I was actually fully mentally prepared to drop money on a nice watch I’d take care of forever. The 1 problem was actually style. I’d look at Bulova and other brands, and I’d like *some* visual aspects of their watches, but not all. For example, the watch would look great, but have rose gold touches I wasn’t a fan of, or maybe the leather strap had that dumb metal clasp on it (that thing is a pain). So I wasn’t about to drop 300-500+ USD on a watch I *kind of* liked. And so began the search online, which led to this watch. Sure, at the price point, I was skeptical. But with returning being easy, I thought “eh, what the heck, I’ll try it” GUYS. DUDES. BROTHERS. This is THE watch. Everything. It feels great on your wrist. Heavy enough to feel premium for sure, but light enough that you can “forget about it” on your wrist, it’s not weighing you down. The visual appeal is off the charts. It checked everything I was looking for, Automatic, Skeleton, simple design and color scheme, modern, brown leather strap, no dumb gold or rose gold, premium feel to it, etc. Sure, the strap *does* feel a little cheap, I won’t lie. But it does feel like it’s breaking in. I hated the feel of it (but loved the look of it lol) on that first day, but even just the next day it felt better. Still, straps are easy to replace if you want to upgrade it. And $70 USD!? Guys that’s incredible! For that price point, I’m shocked! All in all, I haven’t been this happy about a purchase in a long time. I typically only leave reviews for stuff and restaurants when it’s either a true 5-star, “knock my socks off” type of thing, or a 1-star “complete disappointment” type of thing. Elegant Skeleton Watch with Great Quality for the Price

I bought this BENYAR watch as a gift and it exceeded my expectations. The design is very elegant and eye-catching, especially the skeleton style that shows the inner mechanism, giving it a modern and sophisticated look. The leather strap feels comfortable and well made, and the watch has a nice weight that makes it feel solid. It works perfectly, keeps accurate time, and the overall finish is much better than expected for the price. Best Skeleton at this Price Point

I'm about a week in with this watch and I have to say I love it. While the band does make noise against the lugs sometimes and is definitely of cheaper quality, I find it to be decently comfortable and well built. The dial is gorgeous, and you're not going to find many other skeletons at this price point. I'm excited to see how the movement performs after a while and how scratch / bump / life resistant the watch is, and I'll update this review if something changes. Until then, five stars. Update 4/14/26: The strap unfortunately broke at the buckle for this watch after some months of wear. As others are saying, it is recommended to get a band replacement with this watch. Down to 4 stars, but the watch itself still is scratchless and works great. ... show more

I bought this because I wanted a mechanical skeleton watch to add to my collection. It was on sale for $32 and looked good, so I picked it up. It's become my workhorse watch in that time, and sees more use than my Citizens, Seikos, or Tags or Hublot. The crystal has a couple little dings at the top edge from when I was working under my car but is otherwise scratch-free. The black finish has worn down on the outer edge of the bezel and the edges of the case by the strap connector, which (imho) gives it a cool patina as it shows the copper underneath. Again, this became my workhorse and has been put through a lot more use than my dress watches have; if you use it as such, the finish will likely last many years longer. I do leathercrafting and had planned to make a custom strap right away, but the one that came with it seemed decent enough that I left it on. It's just about time to replace it. The leather is painted and highly treated which makes it durable, but it as the paint wears it looks more "worn out" than having a "patina." Pairing this with a custom strap, as other reviewers have, is a good move. I've gotten a lot of compliments for it in the last couple years, as people notice the mechanism moving inside. The color balance between gunmetal, chrome, and gold is great at this price point, and it manages to strike a perfect balance of subtle and flash. It's a watch that can look "tough" while still being sophisticated... Isn't that what we all want? If you're only going to have one or two watches that suit work, play, and formal events, this one is a great choice. I don't think you'll find much better for at least another two hundred bucks. ... show more

Extremely extremely disappointed

This was purchased awhile ago(like 9 months ago) as an anniversary gift for my husband. (I had meant to leave a review sooner but I forgot and Amazon just reminded me to do it..) He loved it so much and wore it everywhere... For about 2 weeks... And then, one day, he accidentally scraped against a wall (close quarters at work) and the watch got these deep gouges.. He decided he didn't want to damage it further because he loved it so much.. So he stopped wearing it and it is now a paperweight. To say I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of this is really an understatement just because of the sadness he had when he showed me the damage like it was his fault this was shoddy quality. I spent too much on this for the "glass" to be able to be gouged by an accidental wall scrape. I understand there are more expensive watches out there I could have purchased, as I was originally looking at a much more expensive brand, but I saw this one and knew he would love this as it's all around his style, but it's really ridiculous to me that the quality of this is just that low. I wouldn't buy this again. I don't recommend it to anyone and I'm just overall still mad about it even 9 months later. ... show more

A very impressive time piece

This is such a handsome watch. It is a nice compliment for your husband‘s watch collection. Just make sure you rotate it at least every eight hours to keep the time up. They fit in the quality are wonderful.
