Description

I really had to debate between giving this game 4 stars or 5. It's definitely not perfect but it's the best PSVR game I've played in a long time. The game is difficult, even on the easier settings, and learning the controls takes a while and is almost intimidating. It has a really good story and the voice acting is top notch. There are times you can almost picture you're hearing Robert Downey Jr speaking. And flying around like Ironman is is just awesome! My main issue with the game is mentioned in so many reviews so I won't get deep into it. The load times are too long and too numerous. Really throws off the continuity of the game. I'm a patient person so it's not a deal breaker for me, but it's definitely noticeable and a bit annoying. Ironman VR makes great use of the controllers and that's what truly makes the game difficult. You have to learn how to use your thrusters while attacking at the same time. You need to constantly be on the move if you don't want to die real quick. I found myself accidentally hitting the pause or screen cap buttons constantly which is a pain in the butt in the heat of combat. I was over halfway through this game before I really mastered the controls and even now there's a lot of room for improvement. The intimidation of learning this was the main thing keeping me from being pumped to play this and is the reason why it took me several months before I actually passed the game. In the end it was well worth it and I ended up liking the game a lot more after finishing than I did in the beginning. There is definitely a lot of replay value in this game. I recommend this game more than any other PSVR game that's come out with a physical release in a long, long time.

I purchased this product for my son and I as we haven't found a PSVR game recently that seemed good enough to purchase. I decided to buy this on a whim since it included one of our favorite characters, Iron Man, and I couldn't be more happy with the product. We dusted off our PSVR headset and fired this up a day after we had received the game in the mail and our minds were blown! It is not the greatest game graphically but the fun of the game quickly makes you forget that. I am 37 years old and when I played this game I was just as giddy as my 9 year old son. This game truly makes you feel like Iron Man through and through. Between the upgrading of the suits, mid air villain battles, and walking around the shield carrier I found myself in complete awe. It is very well done and I really hope that we see more Iron Man games like this because the property fits the VR so well. Additionally, I tend to get motion sickness and dizziness when playing various games in the PSVR library but I felt pretty good throughout my play through of Iron Man VR. I was really worried at first because I know flying around can be a little jarring for me but I felt fine most of the time. There were a couple of times that I felt a little off balance but I never felt overwhelmingly dizzy like I have with some other VR games. My son and I absolutely love this game and we hope to see more from this series in the future. From the gameplay to the music to the voice acting, this game is a real gem. I highly recommend this for any Marvel, Iron Man, or action game fan. Check it out if you have PSVR, you will not be let down! You will FEEL like Iron Man! Believe me!

Great graphics and experience; one of the best games I have played on my PS VR. If you are not an Iron Man fan, maybe you are not going to like it. At the beginning, it is kind of hard to dominate the movements, but once you get used to it, it's really great.

This game is pretty amazing. There’s a lot of actions that you can do that makes you feel like you are inside the game. The few things I don’t like is how you move your character without the suit on and the camera movement which is because of the motion controller. Hopefully, on the PS5, they will have a motion controller with a thumbstick or even a touch pad that allows movement and camera angle change. A cool feature on this game is that the ability to interact with things. Such as playing basketball, weight lifting, boxing the punching bag and my favorite of al is eating and drinking food. Be careful when you drop the food on the floor though since you won’t be able to pick it up. Other than those issues, so far, I am enjoying the game.

This is EASILY the greatest VR game there is. You ARE Iron Man. I cannot express how much fun the game is, entertaining the story is and the VR portion. You feel like you are flying, you feel like you are shooting, you feel fear/anticipation in the scenes. The soundtrack is cool....if you have purchased the Sony VR helmet AND THE MOTION STICKS, buy this game!!!

Great game. Takes some getting used to in order to fly right. The graphics are great. It's a game that has hours of game play. Definitely not a cheesy beat the game in a few hours kind of deal. It's definitely one of the better games for the psvr.

We had played the demo on psvr and really enjoyed it. For the price couldn't pass it up. The actual game is so much better. Made a great Christmas gift.
