Didn't have much expectation about this game but wow! , I played in a friend house and I had to buy it and have to say its amazing, visuals, gameplay, sound it has everything, Marvel should give more games to Squarenix so we can get more interesting story's like this! Just buy it!

    • Overwhelmingly frustrating design
Visuals are pretty decent, but it's largely unplayable. It exudes deliberately poor gameplay design on several levels. Also, be ready to replay unskipable cut scenes a half dozen times as you try to figure out how to perform the required action you're given no guidance on.

This game has too many bugs, they tried implementing a “save roll-back” feature but it doesn’t really work. Looks great, and the gameplay is fine who it works, but i’ve didn’t more time trying to figure out how to work around the bugs than actually playing the game. But who knows maybe they’ll do a big patch and make it playable. ... show more

    • Absolutely baffling.
I'm trying to understand the glowing reviews. Did we play the same game? Because I played a 20 hour walking simulator with below average combat. You only play as one character, with one set of weapons, which are hilariously weak. And many enemies are just walking bullet sponges. You shoot and shoot and they just don't die. (Or sometimes you shoot them enough to deplete their health bar only to discover there is another health bar. Fun!) I spent literally over a minute just continuously blasting one enemy, and then they spawned a dozen more just like him. I guess that was the only way to make it challenging, since the mechanics are so basic. Couple it with meandering bits of walking from point A to point B and this. is. a. SLOG. I couldn't believe how long it took to get through it, considering how utterly simplistic it is. But I have to admit, it is pretty, which is what intrigued me in the beginning. And the writing is above average. The characters are funny and charming. (This is from a guy who despises most comic book movies.) I just wish they picked quality over quantity. Try this on Playstation Plus. If you're unimpressed by the first couple chapters, give it up, because it only gets worse. ... show more
