  • Quality Lacking
The brand name Martin is supposed to mean quality. I have a LBMartin it has its problems but not like the DJr-10E did. No pics as just as soon as I had a moment to really look it over, strummed a few chords listened to the fret buzz with dismay. did a couple of slides up the frets and shook my head in sorrow at the amatuer fret end clean up pretty sharp. Two days and it was already on the way back. So in all yes it was a Martin yes it did look nice, did it sound nice? I can't say anything about the fishman pickup as I never hooked it up. Yes the strings that weren't buzzing the frets sounded great lol. Did I feel that I wanted to spend more money to get it straightened out No. Could it have been a fluke? maybe just not willing to try it again. Good luck to you if you decide to get one, perhaps yours will be playable. Update had to involve my bank to get all my money back from the seller, they felt that I had no idea what I was talking about and decided to keep $65 for restocking and let me know I was an idiot and knew nothing about guitars not knowing I've been playing for 45 yrs. So my card company TOOK the $ back just as I told the person would happen if they insisted on being thieves. My exact words: you can do what"s right and return the full amount or you can do whatever and have the $ taken from you anyways, and it's not the good reviews that tanks company's. Check out google for the real story. This company what a joke. New guitar needs a .040 wedge under the saddle just to make it playable, yeah nothing wrong with that. If I need to hire a (luther) - they're own words what was the issue? Luther? how about a Guitar Luthier as I have no idea who luther is idiots. ... show more

  • This is the one guitar you should learn on, and have for easy access and travel
I started 6 weeks ago, with a Walmart Guitar. I upgraded to this one on my 3rd week and love it. It has a little thinner neck 1 3/4 inch which helps with the chords like G. I changed the strings to Elixir Phos Bronze extra light (.10 - 47) part 16002, and they make a huge difference when you're learning. They sound great too. This guitar is easier to play than my new Taylor 418e Grand Orchestra which has awesome sound. It's easy to take to my lesson with the well made protective soft gig bag. And it stays in tune very well, which suggests the bracing and neck are very stable. It's size is perfect for having next to you on the couch or office chair. It's light weight, and easy hold. Mine is electric too and it's fun to play on my cheap amp. Over all it's a super deal for a fine instrument that could easily be your favorite guitar to play! ... show more

  • Easier to play and find your way around the fretboard
I have an acoustic nylon-stringed guitar, but I find this little dreadnaught sized for easier (reaches) to learn the entire fretboard. I have large hands and was concerned about fingers being so close, but it is not an issue. Also, the double fretboard markers at the 7th fret really helps me find my way faster. This make and model was recommended to me by my nephew with over 20 years experience. He has a number of guitars, but still plays this one often (he does have children - so maybe those expensive ones need to remain safe ;-) ... show more

  • Would recommend to anyone that loves to play guitar
Have several acoustic guitars, never owned a Martin, but have always wanted one. Did a lot of research, realized I couldn’t afford a full size Martin. You don’t need a full size when you have this jewel. The sound and playability is like no other I own, or have owned. Took it to a local shop and had the action adjusted, unbelievable how well it plays and sounds, for an investment of &30. Won’t have to purchase anymore acoustic guitars, this is the one I’ve been looking for, for many years. ... show more

  • Perfect small guitar
I’ve tried and owned many in this travel parlor size market. Absolutely by far the best. Taylor mini is good, but no match. A definite winner....could not be happier

  • Big Martin sound and quality in a smaller sized guitar
Great Martin sound, feel, and looks. I can’t put it down. Perfect for any situation; the house, campfire, gigs, etc.
