The media could not be loaded. I do CNC engraving and was limited to painting multiple colors or at least getting them to look good. This Oramask 813 stencil film is a game changer! As another reviewer suggested, is to prep your wood with a finish or sanding sealer prior to applying this masking so it would adhere better and it worked perfectly. I used White Wash Paint as my base coat. I did my cuts with a new sharp 90deg V-Bit at around 12000 RPM and the masking cut and adhered great. It did not peel up anywhere. After the cut was finished, I was able to paint 2 different colors just using a brush and just painted in the lettering and on the masking as a test to see if there would be any bleed through along the edges of the lettering. To my surprise, the sign came out perfect. The painted lettering had crisp painted lines and no bleed through. So the answer as to if this will work with a CNC machine is - Yes, it will. This Oramask 813 will be my go to masking when I need to paint multi color engravings! I will definitely be buying more of this brand! ... show more

I LOVE this vinyl for making my hand painted wood signs for my Etsy Shop!!! Fabulous product, just the right amount of tackyness to it, adhears well to my wood, but also makes for easy weeding. This product is fairly thin, which helps to minimize the paint bleeding under the stencil (if any). Also avoids a chance of too thick of a coat of paint around the edges of the stencil, which would then peel off upon removal...grrrr. I highly recommended this product!!! Using my Silhouette Cameo I was able to etch these glasses (and I am pretty new at this Silhouette thing so basically just messing around with some glasses I got from a thrift store and some etching cream). Very happy with how they turned out! It's thinner than Oracal 651 so you have to be careful not to cut too deep (you probably already know that lol but I'm new) but it sticks very well to glass. The design I picked was pretty darn detailed for what I was trying to accomplish and for the most part I felt like it turned out pretty well (particularly with zero practice). The media could not be loaded. When you put it on, you need to scrub it down. At the step of over painting (white spray paint in my case) you can't rush the drying with hot air as it makes it bubble or lift a bit. I also think that it may release chemicals into the paint from the mask defeating the drying process. You can see I had fine detail in my design and the mask was stable and held shape even if only a whisker in thickness remained. I have done 15 letters like the one displayed and heeding that minor caution, it was an excellent product. I would pick it again. ... show more

I use this in my Sillhouette vinyl cutter to make friskets. You cut the mask and then stick it to what you want to paint, shoot it and peel it right up and you get perfect lettering (or whatever you're doing).

Works great. I bought it to use on a laser cutter to mask off and peek for painted areas. If you use it for this function be sure to have good ventilation as the off gases aren't good. Also if your surface isn't very smooth (wood) and you plan to use a thin paint, I would suggest a light sanding or use a wallpaper roller to really press it down. ... show more

I've ordered this same product before but NOT from this seller. My last roll was rolled very tightly and I experienced lots of bubbles and creases when I unrolled it. This seller did not have it rolled tightly and it has made for a way better experience. Great stencil material, little bleeding.
