Very nice and perfect sized. Arrived in horrible shape though. Both drawers were broken via the drawer hardware. There were screws falling out of everywhere while I was unpacking it. It is my opinion that the screws used during the mfg process are terribly sub-par. They are about 1/8" long and super skinny. Couple that with sparse placement and its a recipe for disaster. I ran to the hardware store and picked up some #6 and #8 1/2" screws and reassembled both drawers. Now the build quality matches the visual quality. If I would have seen that in the showroom while shopping, I would have avoided the purchase. It was that terrible. ... show more

    • Arrives assembled, well packaged and exactly as expected
First time ordering furniture directly from Amazon but the delivery exceeded my expectations. It arrived completely assembled and well packaged with no damage to the carton or wood. It's very heavy so make sure you have someone help with moving it where you want it. The overall appearance , quality and operation met my expectations. Took a bit to figure out how to remove the drawers but other than that, this is a great piece of furniture. My office is now complete. ... show more

We've had some trouble getting damaged furniture in the past when it was pre-assembled so we were happy to see that the Martin Furniture products are well made, handsome, and very well packaged for shipping. Despite some dings and dents on the box, the item inside was unharmed. It looks great.
