Even before unfurling it, you can see how thin the fabric is, because you can see the print from the lower layer through the top. So you may want a liner. Outside of that, it seems like a very well made curtain. It's clearly cotton, and it has a lovely print on it. It seems like a nice value for the $13ish that I got it for.
