I have mixed feelings about mixed down comforters--some are just too "pokey" with feathers--but this one is pretty nice. It's warm but relatively lightweight, and it doesn't poke or crinkle like other comforters I've had that had down and feathers. It leaked a bit at first, but hasn't done so since I fluffed it in the dryer. It's a really good deal for the price, IMO. It does need to be dry cleaned, but I use a duvet cover so I only have my down comforters cleaned annually and I've never had an issue (I throw them in for a fluff weekly on air dry--no heat--with some dryer balls, spray with gentle fabric disinfectant, and spot clean when needed). I do wish it was a bit larger; I know it's fairly standard for king, but we have a split king adjustable bed and need a larger comforter so we can both raise/lower our respective sides without stealing from the other person. It is getting warm here so I packed it away for the summer, but I look forward to getting it out again when the weather cools off. I will probably keep it in the guest room because I'd like a larger one for our bed, but it's a good backup for the cooler months, and it's great quality for the price.

Measuring 90 by 106 inches this king size comforter is 50 percent white goose down and 50 percent white goose feathers and the filling is stated to be sterilized. The shell is 240 thread count 100 percent cotton, is down proof and stitched in an end-to-end square block pattern which serves to insure the down and feathers stay evenly distributed. The perimeter is finished with a contrasting medium grey piping which creates a quality appearance and the corners have loops so the comforter can be tied securely within a duvet cover so it doesn’t shift out of place. Hypoallergenic the laundry care instructions on the label are to dry clean only so if adhering to that instruction using a duvet cover is important to help keep dry cleaning to a minimum. Also machine washing a duvet cover is both manageable and economical. The shell is breathable so the comforter can be used year-round. Arrives folded in a zippered clear plastic and fabric storage case which has wire around the perimeter to help it maintain its shape. Very nice.

This is a beautiful comforter that's light and fluffy, and the fill is evenly distributed. It doesn't have the crunchy feel or sound to it like some other feather filled duvets do. It's light enough in weight that I'm able to use it even now in the spring and it's not too hot, but is thick enough that it will provide some warmth as well in the cooler months. The king is a generous size, with plenty of blanket to reach over either side of the bed. It fits inside my duvet cover well. And because this is a medium, all-season weight/warmth, I'm able to wash it at home in my own washing machine, compared to needing an oversized one for the thicker, winter comforters. Overall I'm quite pleased with this.

This comforter from Martha Stewart is one of the nicest ones I have ever owned. The cover is 100% cotton, and the filling is 50% goose down and 50% goose feathers. It is very heavy, but quite comfortable. Since I put this on my bed, I have been sleeping better than I have in months. Please keep in mind that you cannot wash this comforter in your washing machine. It can only be dry cleaned. So I recommend not taking it out of the package until you have a duvet cover for it. It's expensive, but well worth the price in my opinion. If you take care of it, this comforter should last you for years.

This is a good value down/feather comforter – it’s 50% Down/50% Feathers. It isn’t crinkly like comforters with more feathers than down but it is not so lofty/lightweight as a down comforter. 100% down is fabulous but it costs more money. The outer fabric is sturdy but there were some feathers floating around in the bag & on the comforter so there is a bit of leakage. I put it in the drier on air (no heat) to fluff it. There were feathers floating around & in the lint screen but not excessive. It has tabs for keeping it in place inside a duvet cover. I always use a duvet cover to keep the comforter clean – it will last longer if you take care of it properly.
