When I purchased this topper it was the only one with no negative reviews (one has now appeared). I have a new Twin XL hospital-type adjustable bed with a very hard, plastic covered mattress. I love that I can adjust the head & foot positions, but it is a sweat box even when I added my quilted mattress cover to it. All the gel-infused or memory foam toppers had terrible reviews underneath the usual super-positive ones that we're never quite sure about. I let this one expand and air out for 48 hours, then placed it on the bed. Now because it's a hospital bed, the "twin XL" mattress is slightly more narrow than a standard one, but still 80" long, so the topper overlaps about 1.5" on each side. With the straps and non slip bottom, that was no problem. The sheets fit fine; in fact they fit better because again, the hospital mattress is very thin and solid so the topper brought it up to a more normal mattress height. Then the big test, SLEEPING on it. Oh my stars, what a comfortable difference it made! The best sleep I've had since getting the bed. It didn't shift and allowed me to actually sleep late in comfort. It felt cool at first, then kind of neutral, but never made me hot. I love it and I'm very glad I bought it.

Marsail King Size Memory Foam Mattress Topper, 3 Inch Cooling Gel Infused Mattress Topper This came rolled up with a safety cutter taped to the roll. It had the bamboo cover already attached and after a day of sitting it grew to the correct height. The cover is zippered on 3 sides which makes it easy to take off and wash and put back on. One side of the cover is quilted and the other has little rubber dots to stop it sliding around on the mattress. The foam itself sinks just enough for you to get support without pressure points if you are a back sleeper who likes a firm mattress. It seems to be as cooling as most gel toppers. It has holes throughout for extra ventilation. It is square without rounded corners which might add a some bulk when putting on your sheets. It isn't so heavy either that one person can't move it around if need be. All in all this is a nice topper with a high quailty cover but it is firm and would not be ideal for people who need a good deal of cushion to sink into.

I have been searching for a mattress pad to add to our bed for some relief for my back, shoulder, hip and joint pain due to an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation. This forms well with support and goes back to original Form when not in use. We have an adjustable bed and it works great. The only issue is it likes to slide to the edge of the bed (we have a split king.) I adjusted the corner elastic straps and almost have it solved. Just takes some experimenting. Great value for the money. Great quality.

This review is for a king size memory foam 3-inch mattress topper. We have been using this mattress topper for about a week now. We ordered it because we already have a 4-inch mattress topper but not only does it not have a cover but it also is too thick, so it makes it difficult to put on the sheets. This one solved both issues. This topper arrived with the air compressed out of it and it took about a day to fully decompress. There is no odor and in fact the cover smells very fresh like it was purified. It fits perfectly on our king size bed, although we wish these toppers came with slightly rounded corners, rather than square, like mattresses are. The straps are quite handy to keep the topper in place on the mattress. However, they are quite thin and I'm not sure they will not stretch out. I haven't tried washing the cover yet. If I do, I'm sure it will be on gentle cycle or hand wash cycle only. This topper is extremely comfortable to sleep on. It has a good amount of support even though the body sinks in a little for comfort. Toppers like this are great for extending the life of an expensive mattress. So far I am quite pleased with this topper.
