My new Epson printer was not printing black after an ink cartridge change. After doing a bit of research and finding out that I could clean or flush the printer nozzle out I decided to give it a try figuring that I had nothing to lose. This kit came with the items that I needed and following the easy directions I had success and my printer works great. I did however make one change. They recommended that I put a paper towel under the print head/nozzle to catch the excess cleaning solution. I used a ultra thin maxi pad instead. Might sound crazy, but hey they are made for catching fluid and the back was lined in plastic and over all more absorbent. More protection for my printer.

I ordered this kit because I have two inkjet printers, an Epson WF-3540 and a WF-3640. The 3540 cleaned up to new condition with a liberal application of the fluid through the proper hookups. The 3540 was clear after one application. The 3640 was exactly the same configuration. The 3640 had a printhead that was so clogged that repeated treatments couldn't clear it. The 3640 was still leaving gooey leftover black ink in the blotter after the fourth application and no black ink was being printed when test pages were made. If you're expecting this to be a plug and play job, don't bother buying it. You will be disappointed. It's messy and if you don't take proper precautions to keep your work are clean, you old ink everywhere. In summary, if the printhead can be salvaged, this will do it. Unfortunately, you won't know this until you attempt to fix it.

It worked for me, it's a little messy. And y would recommend watching some videos ahead and familiarizing with your specific printer model and parts. But for me it was what I needed, printer was printing all greenish pages, then no color at all. I do not use the printer that often. So I think ink got clogged in the system. That's why I gave this product a try. And I'm happy with the results.

This is amazing, it saved me from having to buy a new printer. Use this and then run a system clean. IMPORTANT. I had to run a full system clean after using this. Also be sure to let printer dry entirely after cleaning and before running a clean. There are YouTube videos to help also that I found.
