The color is wrong, but it’s a darker green and it matches my sleeping bag so I’m not really mad about it. It was big enough for my husband and I to be comfortable inside. We thought the poles were decent. It rained a bit while we were out and we stayed dry inside. You do need to provide your own tarp for underneath the tent but if you put a blanket down, you’ll be alright. It is definitely a good tent for the price, for 2 people and for 3 seasons. ... show more

Well built, easy to put up and take down. A perfect choice for 2 people and their stuff. Seams are well sealed, good zippers, and a user friendly stuff sack. Some may consider that a small detail, but I own several other tents including a high end four season tent, and you need to be an engineer to fit all the components back in the sack! Not a problem with this tent. The poles are durable and it does well in the wind. I'm certain you can spend a lot more on a lighter, fancier tent for backpacking, but after several trips afield, I feel I got plenty of bang for my buck with this tent. First of all, I purchased this tent outright for the advertised price. No incentives/discounts. In my years of outdoor trekking, I’ve come to expect quality out of Marmot. I was a little hesitant to purchase this tent only because I have not heard much about it and the on line reviews are a bit limited. I set my tent up for the first time this morning just as a dry run. I did not read nor follow the instructions ( what can I say, I’m a man and it’s in my DNA). My wife calls it hard-headedness/stupidity. It took no longer than 15 minutes tops and I took my time. I have no doubt that time could easily be cut in half if I was trying to beat a rain storm. In addition, without any tent stakes in the ground or guy-lined, it is very stable and can easily be picked up and moved with one hand. I was most impressed with the overall quality from the tent to the zippers to the aluminum poles. I have not tried it out under any type of hard conditions but should my opinion change, I will be sure to revise this review. I gave it four stars ONLY because I have not taken it out yet. It is pretty obvious this thing will hold up to a lot of abuse. Now I am very anxious to really try it out. ... show more
