    • Sturdy, Good Looking, Minimally Obtrusive, No Transom Holes, Lacks Instructions and Ladder Keeper
This ladder was perfect for my Mako 18LTS boat. Sturdy, looks good, angles out (away from the trim tab) and no transom holes needed! I used 1/4” stainless steel steel thru-bolts and washers, and SS / nylon nuts to secure it to the back deck. The low-profile (8 1/2” height) hoop handles are a great compromise between having no hoop handles at all vs much taller ones on other models. The folding ladder swings up and back on the deck when not in use, thus keeping the water area clear when fighting / netting a fish. I would highly recommend this for being a sturdy, highly-functional yet minimally-obtrusive swim ladder. I would also like to add that if you’re trying decide between an installed ladder like this vs one that you hook over the side of the boat only when “you’re going to need it”, the installed option is much better from a safety perspective. You will be glad it’s there if you accidentally go overboard, especially if you’re injured. Two reasons I did not give this 5 stars: Assembly instructions are not included, though assembly is minimal. Also, even though a bungee is included to keep the ladder folded up, there is nothing to keep the stored ladder from flopping and hitting the deck while operating the boat. Both of these issues could easily be solved by the manufacturer. ... show more

I purchased this boat ladder without the benefit of a single review. I made the right choice. this ladder is substantial, study and well made. It arrived fully assembled. I mounted this ladder on an AquaCycle paddle boat. I had to modify the boat to make it work (which I knew when I bought it) and it worked beautifully. The ladder is straight and has a true right-angle mount. If you’re wondering if this thing is some kind of cheap, flimsy devise...don’t. I’m very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

Ladder is of good material, very easy to assemble with two screws and nylon spacers and washers, very easy to attach to pontoon or in my case, my boat house. I substituted the supplied bolts with large and longer lag bolts. As many reviews pointed out, it is narrow in width and the steps are just over an inch. So it may be for regular size folks only. Updated: 8/27/2023. After using it for a few months now, I down rate it to one star because it is very uncomfortable to use. The steps are barely over an inch and your feet are really hurt if you don’t have shoes … who wear shoes when swimming anyway? ... show more

This is a nice ladder , it is quite narrow so it doesn’t take up a lot if room and works well for most people. I like how it telescopes in and out .and has a neat presentation. I gave it a 4 because it would be a little easier to maneuver if it were just a few inches wider
